Welcome to Ridgeview Reverie, a relaxing mountain retreat in the heart of the Rockies. Easy access in only minutes to Pike National Forest, Jeep trails, fishing, and the historic and charming mountain towns of Alma and Fairplay. Plus, just 35 minutes from world-class skiing and shopping in Breckenridge. Mountain life, mountain views and wildlife surround you in this completely remodeled modern cabin. Relax in the mountains and unwind in the newly added hot tub, just 1 hr 45 min from Denver!

This beautiful and quiet mountain community is near the towns of Fairplay and Alma. Also just a short drive to Buena Vista, Leadville and Breckenridge. Anything you want to do in the Rocky Mountains, you can do it in this area! Hiking, mountain biking, fishing, skiing, shopping, hot springs, horseback riding, snowshoeing, ATV trails, jeep trails... Just right for a snowy mountain get away

Amazing stay in Fairplay

My son and I had a wonderful stay in Fairplay. We were looking for a cabin in the mountains that was remote and yet close to activities, and this cabin delivered in every way. The cabin was perfect! It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The views were amazing and the cabin was perfectly located. Chris was extremely responsive and provided us with great suggestions on places to visit and things to do. Anyone looking for a great time in the mountains, this cabin will deliver!

Hummingbirds and views

We really enjoyed our stay in the valley of the sun. Hours of enjoyment were gained just relaxing and watching the hummingbirds. The views of mt. Silverheels are amazing. The home has everything you could need to move in. Good access to the area but away from everything and very quiet.

Beautiful get-away

We saw moose several different days including a mother/baby. Enjoyed the house and the kitchen just had everything we could need. I'm assuming other guests were kind and left staples behind, so we tried to pay it forward as well. Comfy beds and really nice bathrooms. Thx for being flexible on letting us stay another night! Great mountain house!

We do a long weekend in the mountains every year, and this may be my favorite house yet. The layout and furniture were super comfortable and inviting, we really enjoyed the downstairs living room and the hot tub. We cooked a lot and the kitchen was really well appointed. Felt like home, zero complaints. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great Mountain Getaway!

Silence and solitude

We had a great time at the rental. House is comfortable with many amenities. Lots of nature surrounds and many interesting birds will visit, including many hummingbirds. Quick 20 min walk to Pika trailhead and a short drive to many surrounding trails. Chris was super responsive to anything we needed. The house layout is perfect for families with kids that want a separate zone, or even just a group that wants some alone time. I’ve stayed many places along the Divide and this is one of our favorites.

Valley of the sun getaway

Beautiful, well kept cabin in a gorgeous area. Hiking trails, fishing and lovely scenic drives all close by. Or if you just want to stay and relax the deck at the cabin is amazing and incredibly peaceful.

Relaxing trip in Fairplay

We had a nice time visiting Fairplay. The house was nice and clean. The owner was very good about communication and responded quickly to any questions we had. The deck was lovely and had a beautiful view, unfortunately there were too many mosquitoes outside, so we couldn’t use the deck much (can’t control nature). One of the mattresses was a little hard but we managed. It was nice being somewhere a little more remote but beware you will be driving on a lot of gravel roads to get there. Overall, we had a very good stay.

Amazing location in the mountains, with a beautiful view of Mt. Lincoln. Hot tub is perfect, downstairs tv and bar area was a great entertainment space. Kitchen and bathroom amenities useful. Comfortable beds. Definitely recommend!

We loved the location - secluded yet close to towns when we wanted to visit. Close to excellent hiking and the stars at night are amazing. Plenty of room, amenities and in a quiet area. Would highly recommend!
