We had girlfriends from many years back visit and stay in Fairmont. This place was perfect. Next to a local restaurant and on the water. Very much recommend staying here.

An elegant and delightful stay
It is a lovely property, and being right on the water was so gorgeous! With two terraces, you have a different beautiful view with each. The bedrooms are so comfortable and cozy. I just loved it!

Caroline’s place was fantastic. The place was clean and included a lot of extras such as soap / shampoo in the bathrooms. The place is right on the water and the grounds are nicely kept! We had a great weekend!!

Beautiful stay on Lake Sisseton
Family vacay for sun and fun boating and fishing. The two story lake home was perfect for our family. First floor patio and second floor deck directly on the lake. Rented kayaks one morning and pontoon on several occasions. Caroline is a great host and her lake home is well provisioned!

Perfect for a girl’s weekend
This was a perfect place to meet for my 2 sisters and our 4 adult daughters. Half of us live in the Twin Cities and half live near Sioux Falls. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and home for conversation, crafts and wine pairings and tasting. We loved going to the Marina Lodge for appetizers and drink. The views were beautiful. We may make this an annual event!

This was out 5th year staying at this property! We love it. The location is perfect. The trails are right across the bridge & the park is basically in the back yard. Perfect for walking with you fur babies. There are so many positive accommodations at this property….The living room with the view & firplace. Kitchen is huge, plenty of room for everyone! Beautiful property
Perfect spot for the fireworks! We appreciated that our kids and elderly in the group could gather to watch the fireworks. The amenities were excellent. While we didn’t use the restaurant this time I know it’s excellent and the proximity is a real perk. And the noise wasn’t too loud as I feared it might be. Only negative was that the stair doorway was too wide for the baby gate we had so it was a bit tricky to block off for our toddlers. It was otherwise a perfect spot and Caroline was very easy to communicate with.

Beautiful, comfortable new building on the Lake with a gorgeous view.
The condo was beautifully built and felt luxurious. We enjoyed being right on the lake and took full advantage of the outdoor space. The Marina restaurant right next door was convenient for dining and entertainment and would have been appreciated more if we didn’t have kids to put to bed, as the Saturday night music was good, but too loud for anyone to be able to sleep through. The outdoor seating and the games on the beach were thoughtful additions and gave all of us even more options of things to do while outside. Owners were welcoming and helpful!

Cabin on the Lake
We walked into the Cabin and it was truly amazing! So clean and so well put together. We really enjoyed being able to be together in the one room with the kitchen & living room open concept - and looking over the lake. Each morning deer would come to the lake and play - it was SO relaxing and quite frankly the best long weekend we've all had in a very long time. Caroline was the perfect host - very responsive and so sweet! The entire cabin is amazing with decks on both levels, so if you wanted a little quiet time - no problem! It was nice to have the Lodge next door too! Great food and service! We are planning to go back again early summer but for longer - we truly enjoyed this property!! ☺

Beautiful, modern home -- in-town location
Pros: This home is beautiful, modern, and extremely clean. Comfortable beds for everyone, lots of room upstairs (separate living area and upstairs deck) Smart TVs in all rooms (we were able to watch our own Netflix and Hulu) RIGHT on the lake, no steep stairs, dock for our boat was right there, didn't have to haul stuff across a huge area Kitchen well-stocked, we made cookies, a cake, pancakes, etc and had all of the pans/pots and measuring cups we needed. GREAT thrifting and restaurants in town. Super cute for walking/shopping. Dogs allowed, we brought our goldendoodle and he was happy to sleep on the lovely patio We had GREAT fishing luck on Lake Sisseton. We caught some fish we'd never even seen before! Cons: The lake was pretty green - not one I'd swim in. But that's normal for southern MN lakes. We WERE able to swim in one of the bigger lakes attached by channel, which was great. The house is next door to the Marina restaurant (property owner owns both). The live music was fine (ended by 11:30 at night), but even with doors and windows closed, we heard talking (and yelling) and people saying good-bye and slamming doors into their cars in the parking lot (which butts up to the bedroom side of the property) each night. One of the nights was a wedding reception, which was understandably late (2am) and the owner was very apologetic and even provided us with lunch from the Marina. But even the non-reception nights were noisy. Just something to keep in mind if you're a lighter sleeper. In addition to the late-night noise, there were also a lot of deliveries and/or garbage truck pick-ups in the mornings in that same parking lot. Communication was good, although I did have to message the owner the night before our trip to ask how we should access the property. Owner was super helpful and responsive once we were in contact. Upshot: it's an extremely modern and beautiful home. The property is well-maintained with a beautiful patio, lawn area, picnic tables, etc. The house location isn't perfect (right next to restaurant), but I think it's evened out by the fact that they do allow dogs (big plus for many families) and the town is so lovely. Wonderful lake for fishing, but maybe not the best for floating with a pool noodle and a beer. No, it's not a "secluded getaway," but we had a lovely weekend "in town." :) I would stay here again with a group who was up for daytime shopping and eating and some late nights staying up together.

Great place to stay in Fairmont
My family and I enjoyed our stay here, everything was just as great as it looks in the pictures. Our stay was fairly short so we didn't get to make much use of the amenities, but we're already planning a return next summer to enjoy all that the property has to offer!

Family time
We were thrilled with our stay at this beautiful condo and the ability to be close to other family for celebrations. The property was clean and appropriations beautiful. Our communication with owner Carolyn was great. The only concern for some might be the sound/music level at the restaurant next door at time was rather loud, but it stopped shortly after midnight. We will look forward to another stay there in the future.
