"We stayed at Frenchy’s Hideaways in the Black Hills. It is a perfect location for visiting Mount Rushmore, Custer Stare Park, Sylvan Lake, Crazy Horse, and the Needles Hwy. Such a beautiful area! The cabin was perfect for my husband, dog and myself. With a full kitchen, we weren’t forced to eat out every day and had more time to explore the area. The location was perfect as a central spot for us be able to visit the areas we were hoping to see. "

"Cute cabin not far from Mount Rushmore. Very clean and well taken care of. Owners are great people and easy to work with. We enjoyed our stay and felt comfortable and at home. They have put a lot of thought into making this a good experience."

"Place was quiet and clean and convenient to Custer State Park. Lots of deer, turkeys, etc around the property and Forest Service trails are just across the road. Be aware this is not a separate cabin, it is a unit in a building of three units so you will likely have neighbors. That was not at all clear from the online listing. Fortunately it was not a big issue during our trip, but it could be if neighbors are loud or have lots of kids."

"I love that these cabins are off the main road so you feel like you are out in the country but really you are only a mile off the highway going through Custer. Kitchen well-stocked, beds comfy, nice bathroom. WiFi and a small tv were nice too. Great communication with the owners. Very friendly. I hope to return again someday!! "

"Our first time "Glamping" was a hit. The Eagle's Nest met all of our expectations and more. The most peaceful place to spend a couple of nights. We lucked out with almost perfect weather so we could enjoy the big, beautiful deck, hot tub and firepit! It is off the beaten path but definitely worth the drive! Quiet and beautiful! Thanks!"

"The location was perfect for what we were looking for. A cabin close to the attractions, but away from the crowds. Mount Rushmore was awesome. The water falls near Spearfish were beautiful. The bison were out in abundance in Custer State Park. The scenic byways had great views. Had 2 different chuckwagon meals. Visited Deadwood and the Presidential Wax Museum and rode the 1880 Train."

"This is a brand new cabin in Custer, very clean, nicely decorated and more amenities than we expected: mini fridge with freezer, glass stove top, kitchen sink, dishes/silverware, coffee, and some more that we were pleased to find. The listing was a little confusing as to the bed set up, so I'll clarify. There is a bunk bed with a twin top and queen bottom, a loft that's a twin, and a futon that's a twin. All bedding is included. The steps to get to the loft are not stairs, but actually shelves...

"The last reviewer was a total jerk about this property. It was just fine, and we’ve stayed at many similar places in the past. Accommodations were good. Just two things we’d recommend to the host: First: The linens were clean, just unfortunate material and colors. White is always best, that way nobody can question cleanliness. The last reviewer said they were dirty but they were fine. Just a dark color. Second: Since it is well water (which is fine considering it is a cabin and says so in...
