This house is amazing. Wonderful setting and easy to get to. Near all the "to do" things but in a relaxing "off the beaten path" location. Wonderful accommodations - super clean, well put together, great spaces to hang out and comfy beds! Would highly recommend!!
The size and layout was very nice. It would've been nice to have the master bedroom on the main floor with a king size bed so the main guests could have the cooler room in the summer months.
Over all, we had a very nice time in Fairbanks.
Thank you for letting us stay at your property.
Ideally suited for our group. Spacious and well-furnished. Convenient location and appealing surroundings. Host responded quickly and provided for our needs. Highly recommended.
Lee Ann was a very accommodating host. She went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome. We rented the big house and my parents rented the smaller attached apartment. The accommodations were perfect for our family. The setting was lovely, Aaskan wilderness without being too far from town.

Disliked: Cleanliness
This property could use a good cleaning.
There where only 4 towels and sheets on one of the beds where full of hair so needed to be washed before we could use it. Location is convenient and is in a nice location in the woods.
The house was large enough to give us that family together feel but also give each of us room for privacy if needed. The house itself is beautiful, location was not too far out of town and we loved being surrounded by woods. The house needs a thorough cleaning and not just the "most obvious spots". Upstairs shower was dirty, there was dust and trash under the beds and furniture, the upstairs has no curtains except the two bedroom windows and we had one person sleeping in the living room area which proved hard with all the light from outside, the upstairs bathroom window has no curtain and another house can be seen from that window which made the women a little uncomfortable. There was a lot of food left in the refrigerator, some in open containers, that was not cleaned out from prior tenants. Mostly think the house needs a good cleaning and the rest would be fine.
Nice place in the woods, clean, big/spacious. The owner was very accommodating. I have never seen so many outlets in a house, so if you need to plug in lots of electronics to charge there are plenty; unlike other places I have stayed where you can't find any. There are three separate units in the house, so if you need more than three bedrooms, you can rent the other units as well (providing they are available). Downside to other units was a baby crying in the one you could hear, but then my daughter had her dog which barked a little at the baby crying which was probably heard by the other guests too.
Nice porch on the front and back with chairs. Like so many places in Alaska there were mosquitoes but not as many as other places in the state, take bug spray so you can enjoy the wonderful porch looking at the white birch trees.
Main floor was the kitchen, dining room, one bedroom, one bathroom with the tub, and laundry facilities.
The kitchen was huge and very modern. There were lots of plates, dishes and cups, etc., but limited pans and no oven pans.
The downstairs bathroom had a Jacuzzi tub - didn't use it but it looked very inviting! Plenty of towels and when asked for more got them.
Upstairs were two bedrooms (note: see thru glass decorative doors to the bedrooms so privacy is limited); a large bathroom with large walk in shower, and a living room (no TV). All beds seemed to be Full/Queen (no king beds)
The road to get to the house is a dirt road and a little bumpy. We had a truck so no problems, but if you are renting a vehicle don't get a low clearance car.
Overall I would strongly recommend this place.
Overall, the property was well maintained and comfortable. Only 4 things were distractions from a perfect 5 rating. Both showers had a few long black hairs in them. A few cups and dishes in the cabinets had to have previous residue washed before using them. The heat was turned off the first night and it got uncomfortably cool in the house. We later found out that the owner checks all windows, and found one open 2” (our mistake to close it) and will not turn heat on unless all windows are closed. It would have been good to know that ahead of time, but we did not know. After we departed, the owner found a spill on one of the carpets, that we did not do. The owner asked us if we did it, we told her we did not, and nothing came of it. But the owner’s reply to that made us feel “accused”. We did not spill anything.
These 4 things were minor but we hope mentioning them helps future renters.
The owner was very responsive by phone and text message, and pleasant to talk to in person.
One other item worth mentioning. The owners lives in the same house, directly on the other side of the wall of the main house that we occupied. Although very quiet, the dog there barks on occasion. And, if you use the washer or dryer in our area (a blessing to have access to), the sound of both is audible to the owner and after 10pm or so, you will be notified that it is a nuisance noise to the owner. Had we known that ahead of time, we would have not done our wash late at night. Having said that, the opposite side of the main house is rented as well. The walls are thin and those occupants can be heard easily through the walls. We were not annoyed, but be aware of this when renting the main house.
Overall, a good house and good owner!
The property was very nice. Location is deep in the woods. Makes it nice and private. We got to see a moose feeding daily in the lower part of the yard. The inside is very well kept. We would definitely rent from the owner again.
The house was beautiful!! We had a great time. Communication was excellent regarding the property. Only negative was the windows do not have blackout curtains. There was also a window near the ceiling with no curtain. It was hard sleeping as there are a lot of windows and it was daytime all the time.
Excellent location close to activities yet in a beautiful forest. We had built-in entertainment with a beautiful red fox and 5 kits. They were a joy to watch.
Well equipped accommodations. Very comfortable beds. Very clean. Two porches to relax and take in the Alaskan outdoors.
Very nice, well kept property. Owners are resident on site in adjacent dwelling 24/7 for any/all needs to be met anytime you need. Very nice experience!
Great location for the activities we planned on the north side of Fairbanks. Comfortable and spacious house. Only downside was some residual cigarette smoke smell.
Five of us stayed a couple of nights here. It is off the beaten path but not far from most places we went to. We liked being out of the city. Lee Ann was always very quick to respond and attentive. There are several units in this house and we had the main house. Neighbors were a bit noisy the first night as there is no soundproofing between the units but Lee Ann addressed this and we had no problems from then on. The kitchen is sparsely furnished compared to many other homes we have stayed in but we did fine. Coffee pot is very small. So we had to make coffee several times to get enough for the five of us. Our friends stayed upstairs and said the bathroom window does not have a curtain which made our female friend a little uncomfortable. Also the bathroom door has glass with some frosting on it. Overall, we made out just fine and Lee Ann was awesome to work with.
Perfect space for our extended family attending Granddaughter’s wedding. Remote yet close to town. Leann set up extra bed for my uncle.

This is a lovely property in an absolutely gorgeous setting. We enjoyed being surrounded by tall birch trees and birdsong while staying in this welcoming Fairbanks property. The owner, Lee Ann, was a joy to speak with. We will definitely recommend this property to our friends and look forward to returning ourselves.
The property was ok. The former renter hadn’t moved out, I’m
Not sure it was something the owner had control of, but they probably needed a few more days to be ready to rent. It would’ve been better, had it been ready for us
