Entire 2BR 1Bath Apt “The Downtown Deneege”

The bright and airy Downtown Deneege (moose in Athabascan) overlooks our beautiful public library park and is walking distance from downtown shopping, restaurants, the local hospital and more. Moose frequent the park, so be ready with your camera! Simplicity meets functional and cozy in this freshly remodeled unit making your stay comfortable and effortless. If you like traveling light, we've got the essentials covered! We can't wait to share Fairbanks with you.
The space
This is a beautiful 2BR 1 Bath apartment unit located on the second floor. Both Bedrooms have queen beds, space for clothing, luggage racks, and fans for summer months. There is a hall closet where you will find extra blankets, towels and more. Small laundry area with ironing board, and cleaning supplies.

There are long term renters in the apartment below, so we ask that you be mindful of parking and noise levels after 10PM. Renters downstairs do have 2 dogs that are friendly, and are always leashed. Just a heads up if you cross paths.
Guest access
Guests have access to the second floor of duplex and street parking in front of the duplex.
Other things to note
We've got three kids and know how stressful it is to travel with kiddos. Please let us know if you need any extras to make your stay a little easier. Pack and play is always available, but we are able to provide some extras if you give us a heads up.

There is a security camera on site above the garage. This has view of the front of the home, some of the side street and parking spots.

The deck will under go construction in the next few weeks to give it a revamp as the rest of the unit was just remodelled. It is safe to go out and sit on and enjoy your coffee or check out the park across the street. Please try to stay off the railing.

Accommodations were wonderful! We had everything and more than we would want from a VRBO. The hostess was wonderful and gave us great tips that helped make our trip even more enjoyable. Great location, tour companies were glad to pick up at.

Amazing Place!
This was one our favorite places to stay! The host goes above and beyond to make sure you feel like you are home. Great location! Just a 10 min walk to downtown to some great restaurants and small business shops. You won’t be disappointed if you choose this listing!!

Wonderful apartment
This apartment is everything we could have wanted for a couple nights in Fairbanks. It was very well furnished and decorated. There were little touches that made the space so inviting and easy to navigate as a first time visitor. Danielle was incredibly responsive and helpful in making our stay the best it could be. Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a place to stay in Fairbanks.

Very clean, cozy, had a snack and coffee left for us. Location was the perfect!! Minutes awayFrom many delicious local restaurants. She l has a book with top 10 things to do, eat etc... we took her word on it and was spit on!!

The cleanest and most comfortable cozy condo!
We absolutely loved our stay here. We were impressed with the little comforts provided by our hosts. The condo was incredibly clean and comfortable, and provided the perfect spaces for us to spread out and relax after a day of busy visiting in Fairbanks. We really appreciated the responsiveness and helpfulness of our hosts. Would love to return some day, and actually wished we had stayed another night!

This property stands out as being very clean and tidy. It overlooks Weeks Field and Wien Park, which means you get a nice view out your main windows. The property manager is a good communicator.

An Aurora Quest
We had a great stay with Danielle. The weather provided a rough start, but communincation with Danielle was easy. The apartment was beautiful and welcoming. Lots of extra touches made the stay extremely comfortable. We would love to be back in warmer weather to see the rest of what Fairbanks has to offer. Would absolutely stay with Danielle again.

Modern, Clean, & Quiet
We just stayed for an overnight work trip and the place was ready and very clean when we go there. It was easy to let ourselves in with the check-in instructions. There was plenty of coffee! It was overall a very comfortable place to stay, centrally located, and there was no noise disturbance of any kind. We will definitely stay here again the next time we stop over in Fairbanks.

Perfect place in Fairbanks!
We really enjoyed our stay at this property! Its location is perfect, just outside downtown but still within easy walking distance. The unit has been beautifully remodeled and the owners have included so many small touches that make if feel like a nice cozy home away from home. Our bed was super comfortable and it is the most well equipped and clean rental we’ve stayed in. The owners have put together an amazing book of recommendations, with something for every type of traveler, which we really appreciated! We are already planning out next trip back and hope to be able to stay at this property again!

Nordic ski racing
Great place to stay. The home was extremely well stocked with everything we needed and didn't know we needed (a heat tape for the car and a mirror that "Defogs" in the bathroom, I'm asking my husband for one next Christmas). We stayed a week in the winter for a Nordic race and the home was a warm and inviting place to return after a long day of skiing and at the races. The beds are comfortable, everything was extremely clean and the coffee was wonderful. Would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful!
My husband and I had a wonderful vacation in Alaska. At the end of our trip, we stayed at this wonderful VRBO! We felt completely at home, and it was probably one of the best VRBOs I’ve stayed at thus far. It is evident that they took the time to consider everything that a guest may need and make it readily available for them. It was so nice to be able to do some laundry at the end of a long trip to Alaska.

We were in town to visit a friend after a few days down in Denali. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and warm with everything we needed. Easy access to everything in town. The welcome book was very helpful, but even more so was Danielle who was quick to communicate and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed - just one example of the incredibly friendly people of Fairbanks! In addition to visiting LARS, Running Reindeer Ranch, and Museum of the North, we were lucky enough to go sledding at university hill and get TWO good nights of aurora viewing from the park across the street.

Amazing! Extremely well equipped they have really thought of everything.
We came to Fairbanks to drop my daughter off for a summer research internship in toolik field station. We found this property exceptionally equipped with everything we needed. The attention to detail is unmatched. We were able to see some sights and relax in preparation for “Field station” living. This apartment felt like home soo comfortable! Bravo!
