About this property

You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Cozy two bedroom log cabin on the Chena River near town.

One bedroom has a queen size bed, the other two twins. There is also a carpeted attached garage that gives additional space and has a double bed. You actually enter the house through the garage so, except for the door that makes it handy to bring in luggage, you wouldn't know it's a garage.

It sits on a three and a half acre lot right next to the cabin with the addition that we have used for VRBO for the past two years. The original owner built what is now our home for them and this cabin for his folks in the 1950’s. We have lived here for 50 years and find it a special place.

This is a very well built log cabin. It looks and feels comfortably rustic. It's a nice quiet neighborhood and backs up to the beautiful river. 10 out of 10 we will stay here again.

Stayed here in October - It's 10 min drive from downtown Fairbanks but feels more secluded inside, nice view of the river, and feels very cozy and rustic. Would stay again.

Loved the Cabin by the River
This is a great location for visiting the Fairbanks area. We loved the huge windows and watching the activity on the river. Our host was very friendly and easy to communicate with.

This is a nice place with a cabin feel and 3 different sleeping areas. It is stocked for cooking, has books and other entertainment plus a beautiful view of the river. I thought it was more secluded when we booked it but it worked well for us. We went to the Arctic Circle and Chena hot springs. Long drive to the circle but Chena hot springs less than an hour away and totally worth it. Martha communicated everything clearly.

Loaded up the van for our annual skateboard trip to Fairbanks to film for the new 49th Supply Company video. The lodgings were great and the host was awesome! Definitely recommend a stay here, just save room for our next trip!

Beautiful views and super charming log cabin.
Very cozy and charming log cabin. Loved the history and family feel of the place. Had everything needed to make us feel at home. Had an issue, but Mardee was super responsive and helped resolve.

Overall very pleased with the home, location was great, and it met our needs just fine. The home could definitely have been cleaned better prior to our arrival, it was very obvious that someone lives in this home when it's not rented out to guests.

Thank you Martha for allowing us to stay upstairs with a lovely river outlook. Great kitchen and easy accessibility to Fairbanks. Only concern was smell of smoke and could have been a little cleaner.
