Elegant 1-bedroom, 1-bath apartment for a tranquil Alaskan getaway. Prime location for Aurora viewing just steps from your private entrance. 3.3 miles to Fairbanks' amenities, 6 miles to Ft. Wainwright & Fairbanks University. Ideal for work, adventure, and relaxation. Enjoy the convenience of a shared laundry room, Kitchenette, & wifi.

Cozy and quaint in-law suite apartment space.

The living area consists of a living room with a reclining couch, 65-inch rotating TV, coffee table/desk, full kitchen area, queen size bed, bathroom with standing shower.

Laundry area (washer and dryer) is located in the garage, which is conjoined with the apartment.

Smoke free environment.

Guests are able to utilize the outdoor space on the side of the apartment, driveway and laundry area.

Driving around by an AWD car/suv/truck would be the best option getting around Alaska due to dirt and uneven road conditions.

The private apartment, accessed through its own separate entrance, is securely partitioned from the upstairs living space by a deadbolt door leading to the shared laundry room in the garage. While both units utilize the laundry space, rest assured, each entrance is independently lockable, ensuring your safety and privacy.

Please NO SMOKING in or around the property.

Please know that in accordance with the Alaska Landlord Tenant act we require a signed lease agreement; an increased management fee of $230 for the first 59 nights (which goes towards supplement insurance), and then $80 for each 30 day block after 59 nights; and a completed background check through Safely to completely validate your reservations over 30 nights.

Quiet Hours are from 8 pm to 8 am. No more than the authorized # of guests at the house during quiet hours.

No disruptive events or parties. Airbnb guidelines state that if a guest is reported for a disruptive party or violates Airbnb's party and events policy, they may be subject to suspension or removal from the Airbnb Platform. In addition, the host may also ask that you vacate the property and no refund will be given.

Fee schedule for violating house rules:
-Unauthorized late check-out: $50 immediately, $50 for every 30 minutes after checkout (i.e. +$100 at 30 min after checkout, $150 at an hour after checkout).
-Smoking of any kind in the unit or where it can waft-into the unit: $100
-Unauthorized Parties or events: $250
-Additional guests beyond what was approved when booking: $35 per guest, per day
-Unauthorized Pet cleaning fee (excessive hair, bodily fluids, stains): $100-$300
-Deep clean fee, if required (i.e. vomit, carpet stain, bodily fluids, or excessive trash, etc.): $100
-Broken/damaged items: charged at replacement value

Travel insurance is recommended. As with any vacation, unexpected situations sometimes occur that can put a damper on even the best-planned trips. We stand by our firm by our cancelation policy and getting travel insurance is your best option for protecting your trip from the unexpected. Upon completing your reservation, we will provide you with an optional third-party Travel Insurance policy.

We use third-party guest screening: We use a third-party company for guest verification. Upon booking you give permission to the property manager to use a third-party to verify your identity and check criminal databases to confirm your reservation. Complete terms regarding the guest verification can be provided by the property manager. You may receive an email to complete your screening. Clean and cozy
Good property, good location. Basement unit entrance is on side so if you arrive late at night, be sure to go to side entrance as door by garage has different code and you cannot enter. The outside light bulb was burnt out upon arrival (late evening, near midnight) so entrance wasn’t well lit. Property manager rectified the situation. Would stay again, great property and great place to stay.

Perfect Home Away From Home
I stayed here for 10 days while I was in Fairbanks for work and this cozy little place was just perfect. From the super-comfortable double-recliner loveseat to the big screen TV, plenty of pillows and a cozy bed, I was able to settle right in. The property manager was very responsive when I needed anything, and having use of a washer/dryer made my stay that much easier. I will definitely be staying here on future trips to Fairbanks!
