Serenity meets modern in this 3 bedroom, 1 bath log cabin. Sitting on 2.5 acres, the cabin is the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience. You can take in postcard views from every window and the deck.

From late August through mid April, the unobstructed view of the northern Alaska sky will provide ample opportunities to take in the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights). The cabin's location is out of Fairbanks's light pollution.

The cabin is nestled on the north side of Fairbanks, just 1/4 mile from the Alaska Pipeline overlook. Conveniently located 13 miles from Fairbanks International Airport and only 7 miles from shopping, groceries, and dining, it offers easy access to local amenities. Ski Land’s ski and snowboard area is less than 15 minutes away, while Chena Hot Springs is about an hour’s drive, and Denali National Park is a scenic 2.5-hour trip. Located right off the Steese Highway on well-maintained roads, the cabin is a perfect base for Alaskan adventures.

Other Notes:
The entire cabin will be accessible by except for the locked pantry which will be for the cleaners for the property, and the exterior water tank shed.

You must be able to climb stairs to access the front door of the cabin. Once inside the kitchen, bathroom, living area, laundry facilities and one bedroom with a king bed are on the first floor. Upstairs are two large bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen.

The roads in Fairbanks and to the cabin are well maintained. We regularly have the driveway plowed in winter months. However, we recommend renting an AWD or 4WD vehicle for winter travel.

Ample parking on property, with vehicle plug-in for sub-freezing temperatures.

Perfect cabin for Aurora chasing
For my 70th birthday we came to Alaska in search of Aurora. The cabin was perfect; we even cooked 4 dinners in the well appointed kitchen. Unfortunately the weather was just not cooperating, but the host would share the cloud cover forecast which gave us hope. On the last night at about 11 pm the sky cleared and the stars came out. Just viewing the stars from the cabin was great. Then at about 12:45 we got an amazing Aurora show. So grateful and a perfect ending to our September Alaska Adventure. The host was extremely helpful and very quick with their responses. 10 out of 10.

Great Aurora Getaway
Our family of three had a great stay here. The cabin was clean and had what we needed. The aurora views were great and the cameras/live video were a great addition. The additional guidebook and online version were helpful. We hope to be able to visit again someday!

Amazing Aurora
First impression of the cabin from the driveway was WOW, the view was spectacular. The cabin was clean, comfortable and perfect for our group of 4. The highlight of our stay in Fairbanks was the aurora borealis that did not fail us. We were amazed on our first night when we saw the borealis right outside the cabin. On our second night the borealis was just breathtaking. We had an amazing time. Will definitely recommend Aurora ridge cabin.

Awesome Aurora!!!!
This was a magical experience. All we had to do was step out off the front door and the Aurora Borialis was right there!!!! This was excellent for my wife and I and our 2 teen daughters. Thank you for the lovely cabin, will definitely be coming back for more northern lights!!!!!!!

Absolutely AMAZING Cozy Log Cabin in the woods
Absolutely AMAZING Cozy Log Cabin in the woods! This was our home away from home for 8 days, and it was perfect in every way. First it was spotlessly clean, pristine in fact! The living room boasts a nice sized TV, but since we spent our down time soaking up the sun and view from the front porch it wasn't used very much. The wildlife was wonderful, the privacy impeccable and beds were big, comfy and cozy. Best VRBO we have ever stayed at. The information provided was so well done, it shared everything you wanted to know and more that you weren't aware you needed to know. All artfully and skillfully done, just like the beautiful art in the cabin. We can't say enough how wonderful this cabin is. Super close to everything, yet surrounded by nature and trees - and a MOOSE - don't forget the moose. He is awesome. The fire pit and grill were nice too. Every time we came "home" we would stop and marvel at the beauty of both the cabin and the view. Last but not least the owners and customer service were TOP TIER! The communication and set-up of everything was so well done. THANK YOU for sharing your beautiful home. We loved every second that we were there, and hope to return.

Aurora views
Amazing cabin easy to get to close to town yet far enough away to be away from the light pollution. This cabin is located in a winter wonder land; it’s by far the Most beautiful winter scenery I’ve ever seen!! We didn’t even have to leave the cabin to see the Aurora. We were able to see the lights from the upstairs king bedroom lg window, from the porch, the driveway and out the kitchen window!

Perfect Weekend Cabin
