"Lovely, small apartment - we were a group of three friends so used the sofa bed to ensure all had a bed each. Beds were comfortable. The apartment is a bit dark as opening windows would be directly on to pavement but makes great use of a small space. We found the check in instructions a bit hard to follow as post box and apartment don't say the name on them. We had a great stay and I would consider staying here again."

"This property is located on the same block as a Metro/Train stop so that made it very convenient to tour around Paris. Also close to Bercy Arena, within walking distance. Nice to have four separate bedrooms (2 up and 2 down). Plus one with twin beds so folks don't have to share a bed. Door to get in is a bit tricky and old-fashioned. " This property is being given a multiple terrible review, as the reserved stay did not happen. Upon arrival at the address, the gate was locked and we could not access the property. We sent multiple email requests of the host prior to our vacation; but did not receive an access code. The only email response from the host was his name (Pierre) saying “I’ll be here”. Without access to the property we had to cancel the reservation and find a hotel for the night with the help of our taxi...

"Spacious (large rooms, modern bathrooms and kitchen), well equipped (kids loved the ping pong table!), and in a congenial area. Never understood why people feel they must be in center city. Here, you have a real Paris neighborhood, only 5 minutes from a Metro with a direct 15 minute connection to Hotel de Ville. Excellent communication with owner right next door. We would come again in a second - and plan to do so!"

"The large common area is spacious and lovely with a large dining table and a good kitchen. It was perfect for our large group coming to Paris for a reunion.  We used it for a gathering spot, but only six of us were able to sleep there, which meant one person had a not very comfortable place to stay. Originally a workshop, two loft areas were built to create the maximum number of sleeping areas, but many of those areas are cramped or dark. One sleeping area has ceilings too low to stand up. "The views of Sacre Coeur and the Eiffel tower are impressive. The apartment was quiet and modern. Locals gather at the canal outside the front door every night creating a fun atmosphere. We recommend La Marine just across the canal. Easy subway access."
