"My two children (10 and 13) couldnt have hoped for a more special place to spend our holiday. The house really was charming, the pool was gorgeous and the views were stunning. The proximity to shops and beautiful Lucca was amazing too. Thank you Nina for such a wonderful stay! ❤️"

"Just amazing property Lucca was lovely. The road leading to the house was no joke its really off-road. I had a rubbish car and it made it but you need to have some vague confidence. Pizza night organised was really enjoyable had a smashing time. Id say the house is definitely child safe but for a really active 1 year old we found ourselves constantly having to monitor him every second he was awake. But it’s defiantly manageable really nice stay and well worth the visit. "

"The home is a beautiful Italian villa. It is extremely well equipped with everything one needs. The accomodations are very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is large and fully equipped for everything you will need. The pool area is amazing but the water is a little cool. Amazing views from the home in every corner of the property. "Absolutely wonderful. It was what I imagined a Tuscan Villa would be and more. It is private with spectacular views. The inside is roomy and comfortable with beautiful vaulted wood ceilings throughout. The kitchen was well equipped with everything I could think of. The pool is great with a gate that keeps children safe. The terraces with cushioned seating were perfect for lounging. The beds were very comfortable. Nice washer and clothes line. Highly recommend."

"cute clean house. location suited me due to being there for work not far away from this house. In front of the house is a park - very green (bamboo, olives, fruit trees) with a big tree giving shades in summer for the car and the people :-) Not sure how you want to squeeze in 5 people though. Suitable for 2-3 people I would say. Good Internet as well. The Host was very friendly and responsive. "

"We booked this property last year with great expectations and after our 9 day stay it has exceeded everything we hoped for. Our host Isabella was the best and helped with recommendations and the little things that set this property apart from others in the area. I highly recommend this property and quaint little home to anyone visiting the Lucca area in the future."

"Paolo’s property was perfect for me and my family. It is clean, spacious and very well presented. It is a perfect location for exploring the Garfagnana region and close to plenty of local amenities. "The old mill is beautifully renovated with all the amenities needed for a very relaxing stay. The pool was always clean and when we had small problems with the lights the host came right away and took care of it. It's right next to a creek which is perfect for a quick bath in the morning. Elisabetta is the best host and the area around the house very beautiful. We would always come back."

"Charming, captivating, relaxing, speechless. It’s hard to pick the right adjective to describe this cottage chalet getaway. It’s a quiet escape from the craziness of Tuscany but the ride is worth the reward. Nestled into the mountain op in an olive grove, you have everything you need, including your own pool and sunsets over the alpines across the valley. Even the uphill climb from the road is an adventure! Don’t forget to honk!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Collemandina. The property was in excellent condition and Leonardo was very helpful with the check in process and also when we didn't have any hot water. The location is very picturesque and quiet. The only downside is that it is a little isolated. There is a restaurant near the property but it is probably a 20 minute walk up steep roads. We were very reliant on using the car to get everywhere when ideally there would be some amenities a little bit closer."

"We loved the house but it’s not for anyone with even slightly impaired walking, balance, or ability to climb stairs. The house is very old, but updated wonderfully. However we never saw any pool. I would definitely return to this house."
