Because it was an old stone house the availability of electrical outlets for charging phones etc and for appliances was very limited. Perhaps the charm of an old house. The swimming pool was a wonderful attraction on hot days."

"This house was really unique for us for its rustic look and use of natural materials. The beds were comfortable, and there was so much space to relax including huge patio and cozy living room. "Our group of 10 enjoyed our stay in Penafiel. The property is beautiful - gorgeous sunset, nice pool and a friendly neighbourhood cat. "Lovely breathtaking views and nice modern amenities made for a great stay. Responsive and friendly caretaker let us in and replied to questions immediately. Quite secluded and peaceful and about 25 minutes from Regua. Typical country roads to reach it required careful driving.
