"This property was perfect for our needs, working at a conference in the city. We arrived 9pm and left early both days, so just needed a place to sleep. Private carpark round the rear of property. Close to metro (tram) stop and an easy 20 minutes by car from the city centre (less for Salford Quays or Old Trafford). Apart from check-in we never saw anyone during our weekend stay. Host was contactable by mobile if we needed (which we didn't). Self service breakfast provided (cereals) as under new...

"We stayed for 12! Days it was so good. Beautiful property in the heart of North Yorkshire - amazing selection of breakfast. Clean rooms and family-run, friendly service. "Absolutely in the middle of nowhere, so peaceful. Attached to a pub that, despite its location was very busy, mainly because it gave good service and lovely food. However, no noise from the pub overflowed to the accommodation. The pool area could do with a bit of an upgrade but basically ok. Only stayed for one night but would definitely return. Exactly what I needed for some overdue R&R. Having grown up in the country I had no issue with the chickens, including a vocal cockerel, wandering...
