Buses in the area stops early so if you need to come back to the hotel after 8pm be ready to walk a long trek (from the train station) or to pay extra for a taxi. It is located in a residential area so there are no activities and few restaurants. However there is a grocercy store not too far. The access is secured and the host was super friendly. "We loved our stay at the old manor house. It is a beautiful and peaceful country setting. We enjoyed the friendly farm animals (dogs and cats). Dario was a very responsive host and helped us graciously with anything. He even provided a tour of his winery for us which we found very interesting. If you are looking for a peaceful country get away then this is the perfect place. It has plenty of outdoor space and fun for a family."

"The apartment is small but charming. Very close to everything in Modena. We were out most of the time so it suited us. No kettle. About 40 steps up to apartment so maybe not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Great communication with the host"
