Dandy place Quirky Bungalow

Dandy Place is in Littleham cross on the outskirts of Exmouth a five minute drive from the town centre.
Littleham is a small community with all the local shops you would need from fish and chips to a laundrette, Tesco supermarket is within walking distance
Also local buses run every 20 minutes for the town centre and the city of Exeter
There is also a cycle route to Budleigh Salterton and Exmouth via Phear park which join the beautiful Exe Estuary Cycle route.
And not forgetting Exmouths seafront two miles of sea and sand
Newly built over a few years the bungalow itself is one bedroomed (twin room)Has a fully equipped shower room w/c .
The main part of the bungalow is open plan with a kitchen-dining -lounge.
TVs in lounge and bedroom.
Outside space can be used as a single parking space or a seating area with fold away chairs and table

The property is very handily placed for the local shops,transport and for easy walking. Very quiet in the property which was very well appointed, clean and tidy. The hosts had made us very welcome with flowers, milk, and a cake and were very friendly and obliging when we actually met them. Would definitely recommend the property and we would certainly try to stay there again if the need arises.

Very clean very friendly host ! Parking is small shame there wasn’t a microwave and needs a curtain over the entrance doors as you can see everything in side the livingroom / kitchen when the light is on

Hidden Gem.
Amazing little cottage! Spotlessly clean. Lovely welcome pack. Everything there you need for a short break. Bakery and supermarket on the door step. It all made for a perfect long weekend!

Perfect stay for us
We were impressed with the attention to detail to make our stay as comfort as possible. Thank you too for the helpful food goodies waiting for us! Some might miss having no WiFi and the usual ‘too many’ TV channels but we really appreciated the release!! We didn’t need all the local businesses because we were just visiting for a friend’s wedding but realised how much was on offer within walking distance. Overall an excellent vacation rental.

Cute little house
This was the last place I booked on our long road trip through England where we didn't have friends or family to stay with. I must admit, I had looked at so many different places, that I assumed this had wi-fi, and I thought I had booked a place with a washing machine. So culpa mia, but it was a bit frustrating as I needed to communicate with several friends and our next 2 stops, and get some washing done. It all worked out, and Dandy Place was very comfortable. The access and parking are both somewhat tight. We talked to a neighbour who said his back bumper had been scraped several times while parked opposite Dandy Place.

The property was very clean, quiet and peaceful I was grateful for the little extras which were added for a comfortable stay The only negative being there were no blinds or covering to the doors which made me feel very vulnerable at nights being an eighty year old female travelling alone!

Lovely little bungalow
Spotlessly clean, had everything we needed for our stay and the complimentary cake provided was much appreciated. Really pleasant property close to all amenities and a perfect position to reach the coast and other attractions. We could not fault the property and very much enjoyed our stay.

Very pleased with our choice, especially as we wanted to explore the area. Were able to walk into Exmouth via the cycle path. Very grateful that the heating was more than adequate for the time of year (November).

Quite new in construction and very cleverly designed around a unusual shape and position . Interior finished to a very high standard with quality fittings . Couldn't fault the property and quiet location considering proximity to shops and main road . Top job.

Our Dandy place stay
Property very easy to find. We reversed our car, Nissan quashquai into the parking space easily, to some it may be a challenge though. Once we were inside, it was a “wow” moment. The whole building has been completed to a very high specification. Not sure how old the property is, but it looks brand new. We were welcomed with the essentials, tea, milk, bread, butter(real) and a beautiful cake. Spare lightbulbs etc in storage cupboard. Towels and bed linen provided. It is the perfect get away for two foster parents needing a break. Very cosy lighting and comfortable furnishings. We will be booking again. Check in was really easy. Thank you Michelle x

Our stay at Dandy Place, Exmouth, East Devon
As soon as we walked in we really liked Dandy Place; it had a lovely, calming atmosphere and we felt immediately welcomed and at home. The decor is very tasteful indeed and the bungalow was spotlessly clean. A bunch of colourful flowers awaited us on the table. Also, we were pleasantly surprised to find scones, jam and cream!! Thank you so much to Michelle for providing such a comfortable and well equipped place to stay. The beds too were comfortable. Besides the bed linen, towels were also supplied which was great. A lovely property with all anyone would need when self catering. The owner has gone the extra mile with welcome treats, flowers, cream tea, bread, milk, butter and more. Would recommend highly.

What a lovely place !! We were delighted with Dandy Place it is so beautifully done inside and with great taste. It has everything you need. We were greeted by lovely scones etc...for a cream tea and milk for a cuppa which was lovely after our long journey. Thank you Michelle Just around the corner we discovered the shops also with everything you need. This is a lovely base for discovering beautiful Exmouth and surrounding areas of which there are many.
