Had a wonderful stay in this lovely property, was an ideal base for us to explore Devon , would recommend this place to anyone .
The cottage is lovely. It is clean, very comfortable and a lovely place to relax. They were very accommodating for our little one too - travel cot, high chair etc.
Home from home stay in this lovely property with helpful and relaxed owners. It is very well equipped and very comfortable - wifi, hot water, shower, digital TV, beds, all excellent. Beautiful setting in the rolling Devon hills with easy access to towns and Exeter itself. Perfect stay.
We were really surprised at how lovely the barn conversion was. Although it is a little off the beaten track it is ideal for exploring the area so close to all the busy commute roads,
It is so quiet in the countryside you can really chill. Would definitely recommend to others and hope to visit again
The barn conversion is very nicely done with lovely features and is well equipped. Also it is in a very picturesque location, with easy access to Exeter, moors and beaches.
Our extended stay at The Barn was all we hoped it would be and an excellent reintroduction to life in the UK. Christine and Shaun are terrific hosts, aided and abetted by Tango the cat who loves his tickles and sheep who deserve a role in any remake of "The Great Escape"
The property was very well kept with all you need, spacious and in a lovely rural setting. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. We would recommend it 100%
This was a lovely property with all amenities. Although it was very rural , Exeter was 15 mins away. I would definitely recommend this property to others.
Great, quick communications with the owner. Easy, speedy check in process. Lovely, stylish property, well equipped with adequate space for four adults. Great shower and WiFi very good.
Overall a great place if you want some peace or if you want a central location to venture out and about.
We were welcomed warmly with an umbrella in the dark and pouring rain as we arrived at the barn. That was so appreciated - thank you Christine!
The accommodation was everything we had expected and we were very grateful for recommendations on things to do in the area.
Thank you for a wonderful stay!
My partner and I very much enjoyed staying on the Connor's property. It was ideal for us as we wanted to cook our own food and be self-sufficient. And when we needed supplies, there's plenty of supermarkets in the surrounding towns and villages. The property includes all the amenities of home, and the wifi worked well so definitely an option if you need to work remotely. We will certainly consider returning to Wayland Farm!
We really enjoyed staying at this cottage. It really suited our young family. The cottage is spacious but also homely and has got everything that you may need. We were travelling with a toddler and the landlords even lent us a stair gate and a high chair, which was a life saver. The location is beautiful and very good to explore different areas of Devon. And our son also enjoyed watching the baby pig next door and the sheep at the top of the lane. Thank you Shaun and Christine for everything, we will be back soon hopefully.
We stayed for four nights as our daughter is at Exeter University and had a reading week. We were able to have some great days visiting the area and have a chilled out and relaxed time. Property was very nice in a great location and handy to get around.
Would recommend to similar people or to anyone wanting to explore South Devon.
Great Stay!
A really great barn conversion, we found it very comfortable and had all amenities, beautiful situation and very convenient to many Devon towns. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.
The property was very nice and as good as expected.Well equipped bar a dodgy can opener and a rather difficult ceramic hob for someone who has never used one. Peaceful location, close to a local pub and the only downside a barking dog early in the morning. The hostess responded immediately to any problems.
