Disliked: Room comfort
Tiny rooms and moldy bathroom.
The beds were uncomfortable and the bathroom had mold.
This is a lovely little hotel within walking distance of everything in Evora. The check in was easy and fast, and the service terrific. Breakfast was delightful. The arched ceilings in our room made for a cozy stay, and it was pleasant to have a living room to unwind in. A great value and a hidden gem.
The location of this hotel is unbeatable, right near the cathedral and Roman temple. The hotel is quaint and cute. Loved the common living room set up, we took a bottle of wine there and relaxed. The only bàd thing was the heater in our room, and our traveling friends room did not work. It was very cold. They did bring us a room heater which did the trick.
Just everything perfest location , attention to the guests the beautiful ceilings in every room
Highly recommended !

Everything was fine. We had big bags and the staff helped to carry them up many flights of stairs to our room. However, the management needs to check why there’s very little hot water in the shower. In winter, this is a big bummer.
Great location for exploring the town on foot. Nice old boutique hotel. Breakfast was included and staff very helpful.

This is an older hotel in the heart of Evora. The location was great, however, we had difficulty finding it as we had a rental car and the street isn't open to vehicles. I asked about parking and they quickly reserved a place, but they neglected to tell us that we couldn't drive directly to the parking. It would have been helpful to have given us a GPS location of the parking.
Breakfast was adequate and the staff very nice. If you have trouble with stairs, this isn't the place for you as there are no elevators and small narrow stairs. They have an area on the 1st floor with couches and chairs which is nice for conversation with fellow travelers.
It was very convenient to walk to many of the sights of the city. The streets of the city were very clean and reflected the pride of its citizens, well worth the visit.

Nice and central
We have used this hotel on numerous occasions and always go back because of its central location. It serves its purpose. Don’t expect 5 star treatment though.
Hotel is old but then again what isn’t is old in Portugal. Great location and close to a lot of restaurants. If using Rick Steve’s book it is very close to the starting point of his recommended walk.
Wonderful location in the center of it all. Tiny room in an ancient building. Parking near here is impossible. You need to park outside the city walls and walk in. But once youre settled, its a nice location to walk the whole town. Nice breakfast.
The hotel is centrally location in a walking street near the central plaza. There is no elevator and no access to the hotel by taxi (two blocks away), but staff helpful with suitcases and guidance on the area. It is a renovated old building with old time charm. Very pleasant 2 day stay for me.
