"It was quiet and beautiful. The cabin is definitely rustic, although has all the amenities you want, (wifi, dishwasher, etc.) There is a gorgeous nature preserve close by, and I took walks and did an enormous jigsaw puzzle while feeling like I was in a treehouse. "

"We stayed for a week to enjoy the Washington mountains. The cabin was perfect for us with everything we needed. The washer and dryer made it so we didn’t have to pack a ton of clothes, so we had more room in our bags for hiking gear. It was a short drive to Mount baker, the ski resort and anything we needed. The owners recommended the market (within walking distance) that didn’t disappoint. All fresh and local food and supplies. We’d give it 10 stars of possible."

We bought Jakes wood to burn in the stove instead. "The cabin is a wonderful combination of modern conveniences and charming log cabin. We were there in November so I can't rate the lake for swimming, but the lake view is beautiful. We were very happy there, and hope to return some day!"
