The upper level of the house features three bedrooms, a bathroom, and an open-plan living/dining area witha fully-equipped kitchen. Bathrooms have been updated,the built in cupboards need an up grade.The only complaint was there isn't any heating.The house is very cold inside on those real cold days.A great home for families to stay in as there is a huge room downstairs with two single beds and room to put airbeds if needed

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was billed as family home of four bedroooms that would sleep 8 people. The kitchen facilities are certainly not modern and don't give the cook of the household much of a break. There is no dishwasher and the stove is absolutely awful. The beds were okay though the house was extremely dusty and unpleasant. This house is in a wonderful location and ideal for walking to the beach across the road, the Bowli, the Surf Club and town. With only a small amount of investment in kitchen equipment upgradesit could be an excellent rental property. Finally the wonderful verandah filled with old uncomfortable furniture could be a relaxing haven.

The property was a little dusty and there isn’t a pantry in the kitchen. A quick wipe over and reordering of the cupboard allowed everything to fit. It is an older style home that has be renovated and I liked the homey feel the property had. We will be booking to stay here again. A walk up the beach for a morning coffee was bliss.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Mattresses on most of the beds were very uncomfortable, hard & could feel the springs, everyone getting up with sore backs. Had water running down the brick work inside downstairs due to the rain we had while staying there for a week causing a lot of water being on the floor along the edge of the brick work & under the stairs. One of the power points where water was running down the wall was crackling. Owners were reluctant to offer any compensation, but 2 days before we left offered a refund of 1 night’s accommodation + cleaning fee. The lawn around the house should have been mowed before we arrived as for it was up past our ankles. Downstairs where 2 single beds are had no blockout curtains above the bed heads. Downstairs bedroom & garage is very very slippery when it has the slightest bit of water on it, there was almost several falls, luckily no-one was injured. Some of the items in the kitchen cupboards were dirty & chips out of the plates etc. Timber floor upstairs was very dirty. A positive for this property is a great lay out, very spacious, location, walking distance to everything & has a great deck.
