Must have 4-wheel drive
You have to have four while drive to get to the property or risk getting the bottom of your car ripped out. It’s a nice space, but it wasn’t clean. It was fairly messy when we got there.

Nice get away
We had a great time at the property. It was a fantastic location for us to base out of and was so much nicer that staying in town with all the traffic. Really peaceful and clean. Great facilities and a few deer around in the mornings.

Great secluded stay - convenient close to town
We loved the property, the drive at wasn’t as rough as we were mentally prepared for as long as you take it slow. The hot tub was a nice addition, kitchen and ample seating came in handy for a meal with the whole family. The fireplace and fire pit both kept us warm - the heater didn’t seem to catch up but we came with warm clothes and were very comfortable 🌞 we would book again in a heartbeat

Lodge for family vacation
This place is huge. We had 4 children and 6 adults, so many places to sleep and the couches pull out if you need them, we didn’t. The lodge is very close to Eureka Springs. You will need a vehicle which can go up steep hills, as the road to the house does depart from a paved road. We have a Honda Pilot and shifting down to 2 gear was able to handle the incline. Plenty of cookware, plates, silverware, etc. at the location. There is a trail to hike, it’s a bit overgrown, but manageable. Bring plenty of bug spray and check yourself for ticks. We went in the end of July, so there will be bugs in the woods. We really enjoyed ourselves and will book again. We saw a rabbit, a coyote, a few deer, plenty of lizards and hawks! The labyrinth made with stones was cool if you want to get your zen on. We also saw nice sunsets and at least a dozen falling stars. Great place to star gaze!

A Difficult Week
I liked the size of the house. There were lots of beds and linens and the house was stocked with everything we needed. However, the location of this home is not convenient to anything and it is very difficult to find and to travel back and forth to since it is on a rough gravel road that will tear up most cars unless you have a 4 wheel drive or big truck.

Girls trip
The owner should make sure the house is properly equipped. There were eight of us and only two wine glasses, six coffee cups, and no blender. The house did have plenty of room for all of us.

Great Location and Bones, needs some tactical TLC to get better.
Great location, views -- long days, easy nights. Hiking, family competition (epic poker night, ping pong tournaments and broken hearts/egos abound), cook outs, hot tub and hikes -- all excellent. The property failed when it came to comms with management team, keeping the property ready for the other activities that are needed for these type of events. To be specific internet capability (3miles from - and above - a significant population area -- it's 2024, you should fix that) -- especially if you don't have cable yourself as a property. Fire pit was a fire hazard itself (monthly maintenance in spring/summer fixes that -- do it right). Some small stuff that need to be addressed outside those big, have a great time elements -- which is why we rent these places. You have a 10 potential, but your rocking at a seven delivery with our visit to be fair. Like my father always told me, small things matter.... don't forget about them.

Great Cousins Reunion
This was a perfect venue for our Cousins Reunion this weekend! Great views, privacy & plenty of space inside & out for activities and just reminiscing. Better amenities than even anticipated. Caught the weather perfect between storms! Rustic Mission style decor & interesting beam & stucco construction. ONLY downside was that I had specifically searched for a place with everything on one level, and was surprised to find stairs in each bathroom up to tub or toilet! LOL! Different, definitely unique, but we all managed!

Stone Wall Mountain Eureka Springs AR
First, the directions to the house are lame. The road it is on-keep going-you will finally see a sign that says “no more town maintenance”. Go a little further down the road & you will see on right side a green Mailbox with “Stone Wall Mountain”, a big metal green gate & a Code Entry Pad. DO NOT GO AT NIGHT. If you have a bad back, good luck. Driveway is brutal. Almost a mile of dirt, holes & rocks. I have 4X4. Very clean. They know about repairs to house items. Beautiful views, sunsets, nice fireplace-bring own wood.

Nice place for a group
I stayed with a group of couples and two children. The listing is a little hard to find, but when one person found it and dropped a pin we were all able to find it from there. I do recommend trying to arrive in the daylight. We arrived at night and while the grounds are BEAUTIFUL, it's a little intimidating at night. The road does require 4wd in the winter or rain. It rained the entire weekend we were there and we were stuck in the house one day. The property is close to town, has a lovely view, and has just about everything you'd need at a vacation home. While the house is a bit older and there is no WiFi, there is plenty of space for everyone and we all had decent service. This house is not accessible, as there are stairs to just about every toilet and tub. Overall, it was a very nice stay. The host was communicative and the check in process was clear.

Remote/ Comfy
The house is great and roomy for multiple people useage. Love how remote the location is but easy to get to downtown Eureka Springs. The non 4x4 path if car is loaded with people and items can bottom out in some places. Follow directions to a tee otherwise might get lost. Especially the end of pathway when they tell you to stay left. Seems like you are driving into dark woods but the house is there. The water does take forever to get warm. The place has a great sudsy hot tub, ping pong table is fun, most of the beds were fairly comfortable. Some minor issues a couple broken chairs, pool table had some damage, broken window (previously mentioned in another review), front door can be difficult to lock. I would recommend this property especially for the price and ease of reserving.

Winter-y Stay
The location of this place is absolutely beautiful. You’re secluded on private property with plenty of acres. Everything about the check-in process and instructions to get to the location were spot on. The hot tub was clean and warmed up nicely. The pictures show a pool table, but the description didn’t have one, so there isn’t a pool table they just need to update pictures. The beds and rooms were very clean and comfortable. Plenty of towels and blankets. The only issue we encountered was when we arrived the thermostat said 57°. We turned the heat on but for the next couple of hours, it did not get warm. I placed a support ticket in about the heat and then we used the fireplace to burn firewood. The next morning we got a call and the onsite caretaker came over to take a look. The propane was out, so they brought us over some space heaters and logs. We ended up spending about $150 in firewood to keep the fireplace going, but were reimbursed $100 for the heating amenity. Hopefully they will get propane out there, overall not a bad stay, and thankful we at least had the fireplace.

It's a mixed bag...
We stayed at the Stone Wall Mountain house for our annual women's weekend. This was our second stay at this house - the first one was about seven years ago.The house is large and has plenty of space for a large group, and the firepit and view are quite wonderful. That being said, the house has deteriorated a lot since our first stay. The freezer part of the refrigerator would not open... the handle actually came off in our hands! I didn't know that a freezer could do that! There was a free standing freezer in the utility room, but it didn't have a single shelf and didn't close properly. We reported the problem and they offered to send someone out the next day, but we got ice and made do with that. More cons: there were only 6 coffee cups and 2 wine glasses in a house that sleeps 12; the wine opener was small, cheap, and difficult to use; the notation that it takes a long time to get hot water is an understatement - we let one shower run for 20 minutes and the water remained tepid. On a positive note, the driveway is long, but it's a decent gravel drive and no problem to navigate. We will not stay in this house again, but it was clean and the response from the local property contact was very good.

Overall Excellent Experience but could use some updates
Pros: - House had plenty of room for all of us (7 adults & 4 kids) - More than enough linens - Very secluded with beautiful views - Fire pit was a fun experience - We never ran out of hot water - Great water pressure (except in kitchen) - Hot tub is Excellent - Vacasa was easy to communicate with when we had questions and the grounds keepers living not far from the big house were super friendly and hospitable when we just happened to run into them at the gate - Beds were comfortable - AC works great and every room has ceiling fans - Road wasn’t as bad as I expected (definitely wouldn’t recommend coming in a sedan but SUVs, trucks & some minivans can get down the gravel road just fine- Chrysler Pacifica made it but wouldn’t recommend a Honda Odyssey since they sit lower) - Plenty of fun activities in the house to do when it was raining (billiards, ping pong, puzzles galore, monopoly, phase 10, multiple decks of cards, and poker tokens provided) Cons: -The house needs some updates: new rugs (current ones are very dirty/stained), kitchen needs under cabinet lighting- it’s dark, ironing board/iron missing, needs a broom & dustpan, front bathroom needs a window covering, broken tiles in kitchen & bathroom, pest control (rodent droppings found in bathroom drawer & flies everywhere), front door seal is missing -Trash service or locking bins (we were told to store all of the trash inside even though staying for 6 days, 11 ppl, & cooking most meals in the home)

Isolated, but still close to Eureka Springs
We had a great time. Our friend is a DJ and could set up outside without worrying about disturbing anyone. The house is spacious, with many accommodations. The grounds around the house are fantastic to explore! Anyone driving in a sedan should be cautious. The road leading to the property has some dips/divots that you can bottom out on. A higher vehicle is probably a good idea.
