Welcome to Blue Bonnet - 31 Redbud Street

Welcome to a haven of tranquility in this charming cottage! Nestled in the heart of tree lined Redbud Park, this delightful home offers 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The home has recently been updated with new, modern furnishings throughout. A convenient half bath,a full-sized washer and dryer are all located off the living room.

Enjoy a quiet master suite on the main level with French doors leading out to the back patio. This bedroom has a private bathroom with double vanities and a shower/tub combo.

The second floor features two bedrooms and a full bathroom. The first bedroom has a queen-sized bed with private access to the second floor porch with sweeping views of the park. The second bedroom boasts a full-over-twin bunk bed with Star Wars decor - sure to excite the kids!

With double porches overlooking the park, an outdoor dining table, and a large porch swing, this home is perfect place to sip your morning coffee or savor an evening glass of wine.

Within a short walking distance, you have access to the Tower Court Pool. Other attractions a short distance away are Bocci Ball Park, the Boardwalk Pool, the Residence Club Pool & Pool House, Lake Days aqua park, and the lakeside beach where you have access to paddleboards, life vests, and kayaks within the beautiful cove.

This home has its own gas grill for personal use by each rental family. Two large picnic tables in the back are a cozy setting for a summer BBQ.

Blue Bonnet has 2 guest parking spaces. All additional vehicles can be parked in the parking lot behind The Meeting House, located on Boulevard.

All of our vacation rental homes at LakeStay are equipped with bed linens, bath towels, a starter supply of amenities, and a washer/dryer unit for your stay. Great Booking
We went for a long weekend and had a great time! The home was lovely and had some nice additions like gates at the top and bottom of the stairs for safety for kids, a nice porch swing, comfy furniture.

Nice, clean property. My friends and I met here for a girl's trip. It had everything we needed and Daniel was very helpful when I figured out we didn't have enough space for parking since we all brought our own vehicles. I'd love to go back and bring my family.

From the ease of entry to the beautifully furnished home we felt instantly at home. The icing on the cake was the cozy and comfortable front porch looking out into Redbud Park. We were able to watch life go by and enjoy the nature around us as well as the unique homes surrounding it. The Porch swing was our favorite!! The kitchen was well stocked with essentials for cooking and cleaning. The beds and bedrooms were cozy and luxurious. Even the bathrooms felt like we were staying in a 5 star hotel instead of a home. Our only plight about our stay has no reflection on the home, but we had issue with quite a number of flies that got into the home, but after a quick trip to the store in town we were able to amend this issue. Overall I would recommend Blue Bonnet to anyone interested in loving a vacation!

The only issue which we had was that the code stopped working to get into the front door the same day we checked in, but we did not contact management to correct that. I recommend this place for families with kids.

AC was broken upstairs when we got there and was 81 degrees, but y’all got in touch with us and had it fixed fast - thank you! Other things were that several light bulbs were out in the house. We had ants in the living room coming from behind the couch - looks like they were coming in under the trim. Shower door upstairs - handle broken. Anytime we tried to open the curtains upstairs the rods fell down - had to keep putting them back up. Air filter above laundry was filthy. Lint trap was completely full of the previous guests lint. Again, mainly maintenance issues. Otherwise it was a great home and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

No one ever picked up the phone when I tried to call. There was no one to contact in case of an emergency. Fortunately my problem was not an emergency. But there needs to be someone available 24-7 as it states in your rental booklet.

It wasn't that nice, lots of carpet, master shower sprays water everywhere and the bathroom smells like mold. There were also a ton of family pictures in every room which was awkward.

Spring Break Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We traveled to Carlton Landing for a short Spring Break getaway. We chose Auld Lang Syne because we were with another family and the house had 2 king size beds. We found the house very nice and clean. It was a little on the smaller size especially the living room and the kitchen. But the bedrooms were sufficient though. The only problem we had was the house did not have any replacement paper towels, toilet paper. There was no dishwashing detergent at all. The rolls that were already out were practically empty so we had to make a late night trip to the store to buy more toilet paper and paper towels. Would have been nice if these amenities were already stocked. Other than that the house was nice.

So much Fun!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved our stay at Auld Lang Syne! The house is immaculate. There were more pots and pans/dishes/silverware etc than I had imagined which was nice. The House is located on a Red Bud Park which was great for our kids. We could open the front door and they could play outside while we were inside with out any worries at all. There were two houses under construction (each two houses down) but the sites were tidy and were not a concern with us going to and from the house. Just a few things we learned: have your kids bring scooters or bikes b/c you will probably do lots of walking (we brought them, and it was a life saver). There is not a playground on the property except for at the school houses, which we played at after hours. Kites were a huge success in FireFly Park. The general store does not carry as many things as you might think so come prepared, although it was fun for kids to buy drinks and candy at. Fishing equipment is for sale at the General Store but not for Rent. Overall we had an excellent stay and so much fun at Carlton Landing.

It was so well taken care of and we felt like the little touches that the owners had provided for us were very thoughtful and so helpful to us. We enjoyed the different spaces outside that were available to us. And mostly, we just enjoyed resting and relaxing with our family here. It was great and we will be back for sure!
