"This is a very special place. It is a mix of the historical side (bedrooms, lounge etc) with the modern (kitchen and bathrooms). When it was hot outside it was cool in the house. When it was cold outside it was warm inside ( didn't use any outside control. The little extras in the food dept were much appreciated. It was lovely to have the easter eggs and packet of dog treats too. Very welcoming house."

"The main room with the bed was well appointed with lots of lovely little touches. Pod machine, chrome cast on tv, king bed, beautifully decorated. The outdoor sitting area was lovely and relaxing and the toilet and bathroom modern. William our host was helpful and a pleasure to deal with. "

"The place was quaint but the air conditioner didn’t work nor did the fridge. There was ants everywhere and the grass was so high around it that snakes were a concern. Was in a lovely location over looking vineyards. Not what we expected, definitely an experience and bit over priced but the host was a lovely person. "

"Plenty of space in good surroundings.The host was friendly and helpful.We planned to cook one night - bought some great produce at the farmers market (first time we cooked venison). We did find the kitchen a little under-equipped, and there were only 3 of us. Would have been difficult if there were more than 5.For what we thought would be a quiet area, the road out front was surprisingly busy all through the night."
