The home was perfect for us and our dog. Peaceful and beautiful view. We will be staying there again when we are in town visiting family, it was very homey, and highly recommend to others.
Beautiful place to relax, fish, hike, pet horses, deck sit and listen to cows and chickens. Very close to.2 Dollar General's and about 10 min to an IGA. Great family movie area, card or game play and family eating. Host very prompt with answers! Would book again!
We truly enjoyed our stay..watching the cows in the fields, it was funny how all of them were so curious about our dogs,,,, speaking of dogs, our two boys loved playing fetch in the yard. I would get up every morning just to watch the sunrise, such beauty. We asked if we could check in a few hours early and the owners had no issues with that, so that was very nice. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we were sad to leave and head back to Florida
We enjoyed a few days away at this property. Be aware, this unit is on the second floor. There is a stair lift which was a blessing. If you need it, make arrangements in advance. It has an updated kitchen area and even a dishwasher. Also, the outside grill is charcoal, which was provided. The bed was large and comfy.

Disappointing
We left 2 days early because this property is not at all well maintained. There’s a chip out of the paint in the toilet seat, exposing the porous MDF. The refrigerator was never below 58 degrees; to confirm if it was safe to use we bought a refrigerator thermometer; notified the owner who could not take care of it immediately. Our children sent food gifts which needed to be refrigerated prior to our arrival. So there had to have been some notice of a problem with the refrigerator. There is a fireplace noted as an amenity in the property, yet it was not functional. When asked about this, we were told, “the gas has been turned on yet.” It got down to 27 degrees one morning. The closet area in the main bedroom is used as a storage area for the owners overflow of stuff. We have pictures of all these issues if needed.
We really loved the uniqueness of the barn house and property! Very peaceful feeling living on farm property. My kids loved watching the horses and roosters. Owners said we could fish in their pond which was very nice. The kitchen is very big and open. The master bedroom is very large and open as well. Plenty of space. My kids loved having their beds in the loft space. Check in and communication was easy! Would stay here again when we visit family in KY.
Quiet, dog friendly, easy parking in a rural setting. We even parked our 26 foot boat with lots of room to spare. The owner was immediately responsive to our text message and took care of our every need.
The Barn House was more than could have been expected. Roomy upstairs living space with all the things you need for a comfortable stay. The farm atmosphere was great and being able to interact with the horses and chickens was fun for our child. Overall, great stay!
Guys this is the place to stay! If you love country settings, clean and pretty homes, managers who are good communicators and flexible and understanding this is the place. We got to pet horses, hear the rooster crow and see chickens. There were baby toys and children’s book galore. Even scooters outside. The views were so beautiful. You can watch the sunrise with your cup of coffee in the mornings. The kids loved the loft, and it’s even pet friendly. My dog loved it. The manager was understanding when I messed up and stayed an extra day. He just added a day and let us stay again! He found us a baby gate for my 1 year old and delivered it to us. Wow I was impressed and thankful. Stay here, you won’t regret it.
If you want a fully immersive experience in the countryside of Kentucky, this is the place to stay. Breathtaking views from upper deck and all the living and sleeping areas are spacious and lovely. Also, great place for a dog!
The house is really nice. It’s a great layout, spacious yard and access to a pasture pond. The owner is friendly & responds quickly. We had zero problems with this stay. The surrounding area is beautiful but you do need to drive at least 20 minutes for a nice hike, an hour for a great one.
The farm house was not described accurately....it was more beautiful than I could have expected. The house was the cleanest place we have ever rented. There was nothing we needed that wasn’t provided. It was so homey and comfortable, we didn’t want to leave and even added an extra day. But the actual farm and surrounding area was breathtaking. If you’re hesitating at all, don’t. You will not regret staying here at all!
We had a great stay (4nights) and the owner was very easy to work with. We had complete privacy as the owner/s never came by and only contacted me via text message. This was great as staying out in the country, this is what we wanted. This barn (house) was stocked with everything, had a full size washer/dryer, big screen with Roku, and much more.. It was just my wife, me, and out 17 year old dog. Everything was as advertised and the pictures were accurate. We would DEFINITELY stay here again without hesitation. It was VERY quiet and secluded. We even had our own covered parking space under the barn. When you think of a nice barn conversion, this is it! Thank you again for renting out your place! (Just be advised there are stairs, but also an assistant stair lift chair which appeared to be brand new) If you go into Lexington, try The Blue Door Smokehouse....best BBQ for 5 states! Much appreciated!
We only stayed here for a night but we had a pleasant stay. Kids loved doing some catch and release in the huge pond. Deck has great views. Had pizza delivered from Eubank which was a nice treat. Overall cleanliness was good. Beds were comfy, kitchen well supplied. Nice and quiet.
We spent a few days of spring break at the Barn House. The accommodations were great for our family and our dog. We enjoyed being able to see the country and the animals. We used the Barn House as home base to explore the Cumberland Falls area and other parts of southern KY.
Enjoyed a wonderful stay in this beautiful, well-maintained property. Very clean with everything we needed. My boys loved the farm animals and fishing pond. Easy drive to Cumberland Falls.
This Barn House Get A Way was AMAZING!! Simply put !
Martin and his wife have put extra touches both inside and out! The design could be found in a magazine! The extra touches for both couple or family are welcoming and sentimental!! Truly touched our hearts!
And so do the horses and cats and our dogs enjoyed and learned! We brought our fishing pole for the beautiful pond and had so much fun ( and the pups )!!
The chickens ( a rooster too) were well situated to watch over the vegetable garden!!!
Spacious and gracious !!!
Thanks Martin!

We had an excellent place to stay. It was quiet, the view was amazing, the house was spotless and beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay, and hope to visit again soon!
We booked this house for our first anniversary getaway. We knew we wanted to be out in the country with fishing and exploring opportunities. This home delivered more than we could have imagined! Honestly, the pictures could never convey the beauty that this place has. My husband loved the perfect fishing pond and caught quite a few large and small mouth bass. I absolutely loved the affectionate barn cats and got to interact with the horses a bit too. The home itself was also more than we could have imagined! The views from the largest bedroom and back porch were exquisite. We also loved the living room and kitchen area. We enjoy cooking while we travel and we had more than we could have ever needed.
Thanks for making our first anniversary so memorable!
We’ll back as soon as possible!
We had the best quiet weekend at the barn house! Barn cats were friendly, horses were beautiful, and the fish were biting! We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. Martin was a wonderful host and made check in/out a breeze. Will definitely be back.
We loved the Barn House. Martin was more than helpful and answered all of my questions.
The Barn House sits on a gorgeous property. We got to see the horses and beautiful views of Kentucky. The Barn House was very clean and more than accommodated us.
