Ground Floor: Big living room, three windows and a door window overlooking the garden. Around an old fireplace, two sofas, excellent Hi-Fi. Dining room, kitchen, bathroom and separate toilet at the same level.

Miller stairs getting to three interconnecting rooms, two of them having separate beds. All rooms have a view on the garden, the golf and the sea.

360° around, you will not see any other building else than the roof of a church and a light house! Long walks await you along the cliffs.

Wonderful Stay at a beautiful home
We had an amazing time at this cozy old house. The house is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay including enough wood for the big open fire place. We will probably come back for another vacation.

Maison avec du charme, serait super avec quelques rénovations nécessaires
Maison avec beaucoup de caractère, de charme. Emplacement interessant si on aime un peu marcher. La voiture dans etretat cest cher et compliqué donc.mieux vaut rester garé a la location. Maison tres spacieuse. La literie est tres bien, confortable ni trop dure ni trop molle , les couettes assez chaudes. L'environnement est joli et pres du chemin pour avoir une super vue L'accueil est fort sympathique, par mail, au depart, et a larrivée Concernant les points à améliorer : - la lumière...gros point à ameliorer trop trop sombre dans le salon, quand le temps est gris dehord ca fatigue. Au niveau des chambres il manque des va et viens et pareil des lumières beaucoup plus fortes. On se fatigue les yeux le soir - des couvertures seraient bienvenues, les couettes sont chaudes mais une couverture par lit serait necessaire. Les gros points à ameliorer : L'insonorisation...dans les chambres on entend tout salle de bain,cuisine donc il faut une famille qui a le meme rythme sinon vite compliqué au niveau bruit. Un toilette a letage serait bienvenu, ainsi que separer les chambres. On a ete prevenu mais cest dommage il y a la place, elles sont toutes dependantes en fait La cabine de douche est neuve cependant il ne faut pas etre gros et il y a des problemes devacuation des odeurs. Dommage la salle de bain est immense, une cabine si petite Les menuiseries de vraies passoires thermiques et acoustiques... On entend malheureusement le tracteur et la tondeuse ou tracteur du golf...

Eine Woche in Etretat
Das Haus war schön groß, sehr gut gelegen, wir haben uns viel bewegt, deswegen war die Lage optimal für uns. Sauberkeit des Hauses könnte wirklich besser sein, ansonsten bequeme Betten, Möbel etwas zu alt, aber da weiß man von vorne herein, dass es kein Luxus-Haus ist. Wir hatten kein W-Lan und kein Fernseher, es wurde versucht mit dem Anschluss, aber leider vergeblich. Wir mussten unseren privaten Internet benutzen. Sehr netter Vermieter. Viel Platz zum auslaufen für den Hund um das Haus herum. Im großen und ganzen alles sehr schön :)

Traumhaus mit Normandiecharme
Ein tolles Haus im klassischen Stil. Alles ist einfach aber super charmant. Abends haben wir den Kamin angemacht und das offene Feuer mit seiner Wärme genossen. Das Haus ist entlegen und damit sehr sehr ruhig. Hier schläft es sich wie es ein Städter nicht kennt absolut leise. In 10 Minuten ist man an den wunderbaren Klippen. Etretat ist eine Perle wie die gesamte Küste mit den kleinen Ortschaften. Alles super? Ja fast, der Weg zum Haus besteht aus 800m Feldweg mit sehr tiefen Löchern. Wir hatten Mühe mit unserem 3er BMW nicht aufzusetzen. Wenn es regnet verwandeln sich die Löcher in schlammpfuhle. Aber der Weg soll 2023 asphaltiert werden. Das Haus ist einfach was wir als wohltuend empfanden und dem Charakter angemessen. Wer ein luxushaus sucht sollte hier nicht einchecken aber wer Ruhe in einmaliger Umgebung mit tollem Ambiente sucht sollte hier zugreifen. Für uns unerheblich aber das Tv Gerät funktionierte nicht da ein Kabel fehlte. Auch sollte erwähnt werden, dass alle Schlafzimmer in eine Reihe als Durchgangszimmer ausgeführt sind. Unser Fazit: Eines der besten Häuser die wir je gemietet hatten!!!

Ein schöner Aufenthalt in Etretat!
Das Haus in Etretat liegt in einer tollen Gegend. Die Lage ist selten schön und ruhig. Einzig die Anreise gestaltet sich auf den letzten Metern etwas kompliziert. Wären wir mit meinem Roadster angereist, wären wir gescheitert. Der Feldweg ist mit seinen ausgefahrenen Löchern und spitzen Steinen schwierig zu befahren. Auch die Wegbeschreibung dieser letzten Meter sollte etwas genauer sein (Tip: der Stromleitung folgen :-) . Das Haus ist ein schönes, altes, mit antiken Möbeln und Dekorationsstücken ausgestattetes Gebäude. Die Küche allerdings, die ja schon mehrfach beanstandet wurde, sollte dringend erneuert werden. Der Geruch, die instabilen Türen und auch die Sauberkeit, sind Dinge, die geändert werden müssten. Das würde den Aufenthalt bestimmt noch angenehmer machen.

Little House of Our Dreams
From the moment we rolled up to this magical home we knew we had chosen wisely. As described, it really is the only home around and the natural setting is just stunning. We spent time bird watching, star gazing, breathing the fresh air. We took advantage of our proximity to the singular Cliffs of Etretat by easily walking to the sea to watch sunsets. We used the nearby footpath into town to avoid parking hassles. Etretat was full of great spots to eat, as well as shops and other attractions like the gardens. The beach is grand. From this location it was also quite easy for us to reach other destinations like Hornfleur, Fecamp Rouen, Caen, Le Havre, Mont St. Michel, and with a little extra push, St-Malo. We always enjoyed coming home to and waking up in this gem of a home. We cooked several meals in the well-appointed kitchen and were grateful for the laundry and beautiful fireplace. Bed was comfy, there was plenty of room in the bedroom for our things, and garden space was a plus. Regine was very welcoming and Thibault provided clear and detailed instructions for enjoying the home. We loved how it was decorated, the place really cast a spell on us.. It was exactly what we hoped for and dream of coming back some day.

Dies war der zweite Urlaub in dem Haus. Es hat und wieder sehr gut gefallen, mit Strand and Dorf in Laufnähe und gleichzeitig wunderbar abseits gelegen. Wir kommen bestimmt noch ein drittes Mal!

We enjoyed staying in this nice norman house in a great landscape only half an hour walk away. It was a little bit like living in a museum, simple but cosy. We liked it. We would recommend it to those who do not always need all this modern comfort.

Maison avec beaucoup de charme dans un endroit idyllique
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison de charme et cet endroit idyllique. Accueil très sympa et propriétaire disponible pour toute question. Appareils ménagers, Wifi et chauffage en parfait état de fonctionnement. Literie très confortable. Quelques petits points pourraient être améliorés : - problème d'éclairage au niveau de la hotte. - casseroles (couvercles?), louche manquante - état du mobilier extérieur - préciser plus clairement dans l'annonce que le prix annoncé pour cette location pour 6 personnes est le prix pour 2 personnes. - salle de séjour très sombre malgré les nombreux luminaires - les chambres communicantes n'ont pas été un souci mais si vous avez le sommeil léger, prévoir des boules quies (plancher non isolé). Dans l'ensemble nous avons été très satisfait de la location et nous n'hésiterons pas à la relouer.

Gorgeous well-maintained, well-appointed rustic house in a beautiful location.
The owner provided me with very helpful information ahead of my stay. The property manager met me upon arrival and departure and was very helpful and flexible. We were able to walk from the house around the golf course, along the paths of the cliffs, to the town of Etretat, and back as a day trip. The house is lovely. I would definitely stay here again. Bring a kite with you!

Calme et reposant
Maison très agréable, isolée en pleine nature et très proche aussi des falaises d’Etretat. Le centre ville est aussi facilement accessible à pied à 15 minutes. Parfait pour se reposer, se retrouver en famille, faire de belles balades et se réchauffer après autour d’une belle flambée dans la belle cheminée du salon. Je prévois d’y retourner.

Il est rare et tellement précieux de trouver des lieux encore si isolés. Une maison au bout d'un chemin en terre. Pas de voisin, pas de pollution lumineuse la nuit sauf le phare au loin, pas de bruit sauf le vent. La mer à quelques dizaines de mètres. La maison est rustique mais belle, bien chauffée en cette fin du mois de décembre. Un point qui peut être amélioré : la cuisine est assez minimaliste. Bref un magnifique sejour

"Am Ende der Welt"
Dieses zauberhafte Landhaus voller Antiquitäten liegt wirklich einsam auf den Klippen von Étretat. Es ist nicht einfach zu finden, zumal die letzten 600 m auf einem unwegsamen und unbefestigten Feldweg mit tiefen Löchern einer Herausforderung für jeden Autofahrer darstellt. Man ist wirklich "Am Ende der Welt". Man muss es mögen, dass das Innere des Hauses ständig beleuchtet werden muss, da die kleinen Fenster und die nahe am Haus stehenden dichten Bäume nur wenig Tageslicht einlassen. Die vielen Lampen - geschickt angeordnet - und der riesige Kamin mit dem flackernden Feuer machen das Innere wirklich heimelig. Unser Aufenthalt in der 1. Januarwoche 2022 wurde leider von sehr viel Regen begleitet, dennoch bot das Haus die nötige warme Gemütlichkeit für gesellige Stunden am Kamin. Reichlich Holz stand zu Verfügung. Wir wussten im Vorhinein, dass das sehr alte und urige Landhaus voller Antiquitäten nicht den modernen Standard eines sonstigen Freienhauses bieten würde. So etwas typisch Normannisches suchten wir aber auch. Grundsätzlich wurden unsere Erwartungen auch nicht enttäuscht. Allerdings sind auch einige Minuspunkte zu verzeichnen: Die nur spärlich beleuchtete Holzküche ist trotz des modernen Herdes mächtig in die Jahre gekommen. Mehrere Türen und Schubladen waren nur unter größter Vorsicht zu öffnen, man lief Gefahr, sie aus der Verankerung zu reißen. Das Innere der Schränke war zum Teil sehr schmutzig mit alten Ablagerungen. Auch viele Geschirrteile waren klebrig und nur unzureichend gesäubert. Wir haben die Küche lediglich zum Frühstückmachen genutzt, gekocht haben wir aus den genannten Gründen nicht. Insgesamt waren wir von der Sauberkeit des Hauses sehr enttäuscht. Das hätte nicht sein müssen! Wir hätten dem Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Haus, in dem wir gerne den Jahresbeginn verbracht haben, selbstverständlich die verdienten 5 Sterne gegeben, aber einen Stern müssen wir abziehen wegen der Küche und der mangelhaften Sauberkeit. Grundsätzlich blicken wir aber auf einen tollen Aufenthalt in diesem typisch normannischen Landhaus zurück. Wer dieses Ambiente mit solch einer Atmosphäre liebt, ist hier richtig.
