"No reception found our rooms and assumed they were ours. Simple accommodation but suited our circumstances excellently. Suzanne becoming a run down town. One very good pizza restaurant and a cafe closed 2130 on a day France was playing in the euros???"

"This was the third time we have stayed here. Just as lovely as always. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast had very good choices and lovely homemade jams. Always served with a friendly smile. Aircon in the room was brilliant and much needed. Lots to see and do in the area. We’ll definitely be returning!!"

"In over 20 trips to France, this was one of the best properties where we have ever stayed. Very hospitable owners, fantastic breakfast, nicely appointed. We will highly recommend la Goutte d’Or to all of our friends & to anyone who is traveling to Champagne. "

"Do not be driven by the cover photo. This a working property and the rooms are above the office and working area. When work is over, no one is at the property. This is a very pedestrian stay. Our room was disappointing. The shower pan did not drain and my shower had to be cut short to avoid overflow. Our room door did not lock and once shut, it took the full force of my aging body to push it open. The main door to the building did lock however. The view was spectacular. We left early. "

"We had an amazing stay. Leo was very welcoming and even drove us to a restaurant once. Dominique made an effort to show the winery on a sunday. This together with the idyllic location in the middle of the wine yard was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for more. "

"This place was in a perfect location to explore the town. The room had a small fridge, which was useful. Please note that parking is not available on site. Also, if you do not like dogs I would not recommend that you stay here. There is a dog (that the owner admits is aggressive) that guards the property."

"Härligt boende i hjärtat av champagne. Själva boendet i mindre by men närhet till flera byar med olika campagnesorter att prova, inte minst Hautdevilles som man inte får missa. Turistinformationen har koll på var du kan smaka utan bokning."

"Séjour de très grande qualité avec des prestations de haute qualité digne d'un hôtel 5 étoiles. En dehors de votre chambre vous trouverez un salon avec cheminée et coin télé, une terrasse chauffée avec vue sur les collines. Beaucoup de petits détails comme des fleurs fraîches qui démontre la personnalité généreuse de l'hôte. Une très bonne adresse à garder précieusement."

"If you have a car this is a very convenient spot to stay. It is close enough to enjoy what Epernay has to offer without having to compete for a parking space. It is a very quiet area and a great spot to base yourself if you are interested in exploring the vineyards and villages in the Champagne region. "Nice house with plenty of bedrooms and lovely gated/fenced garden ideal for letting the dogs run free. The pool is a few minutes walk away which is not a problem and is ideal when the sun is out, plenty of seating and loungers to relax on. It is great that the beds are made and there are towels supplied for the whole family. However the cleaning was not to a high standard, when you are charged an extra cleaning fee you expect the house to be pristine, the bathroom sinks were not clean, there was...
