"It was nice to be upgraded to the top floor bedroom, with a great view. It was nice to have a complimentary wine. The room has slopped cielings with beams,so you do have to be careful not to hit your head.We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. The bed was comfortable, we had a good sleep. We had a small broblem, which was rectified immediately. We loved our stay and hope to come back."

"We had broken air conditioner for 5 of the 6 nights and they would not give us any compensation, told us to take it up with Expedia. "

"Perfect location with easy walking access to all. Theres a delicious inexpensive restaurant right across the street. Other restaurants you can walk to as well, and the town is perfect and not too crowded and overrun, like some of the other Algarve areas. The beach and Algar Seco are approx 10minutes walk away. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. the room has an air conditioning unit. Very nice terrace just outside the room. The room is Nicely updated and attractive looking....

"Great location, bit of a walk but very much worth it. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff couldn’t do enough to help. Property was a little tired in places but it just added to its rustic charm. Would recommend and defo visit again x"

"We had a wonderful stay at ocean view Hostel in Lagos! The hostel was impressively clean, and the daily housekeeping kept everything spotless. The pool area was a fantastic spot to relax, and the kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. "Fab 4 day trip. Really loved the freedom of self check in/keypad entry. Stayed on ground floor, Room 1. It was clean and spacious. Found the fridge very handy. On the top floor the pool area was spotless and very private. Would stay again. Highly recommend."

Lovely stay

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is exactly as pictured. Staff was amazing. A few tiny gripes: there is no heated pool or jacuzzi, linens are done every 3rd day and only 1 towel per person is supplied. We did not feel misled in any way, but this is not the "typical" American experience. These small inconveniences did little to distract from a wonderful stay. The nearby beach is amazing. It is accessible by either hotel transport (included) or walking. We normally chose to walk for the exercise. Truly breathtaking beach. We went in their offseason (Feb - March). No crowds anywhere. Beach virtually empty, streets easy to navigate. For our family vacation, this was the perfect vibe. We will definitely be going back."

"Everyone was so accommodating. Richard who helped us at dinner was exceptionally kind and very helpful! The staff went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as it was. Will definitely plan on staying here in the future "
