We truly enjoyed our stay at the Top of the World. The place was well cared for and perfect for Family. Karine was so helpful and I highly recommend a stay. The back decks are a National Treasure.

Paradise in the Rockies
This is a killer location to stay if you are in the mood to wake up each morning to a dramatic panorama of the Rocky Mountains. Longs Peak seems like you can reach out and touch if off the back deck. We really enjoyed our stay: comfortable accommodations, quite area, amazing view, peaceful surroundings, even hot tub (which was a hit with our daughter), a well equipped and stocked house, and Rocky Mountain National Park is basically right around the corner; also the property owners were attentive to our needs. This is a nice location if you want to be close to Estes Park, but still out of the crowds. We made this home our hub for daily excursions into the park to explore and hike. If internet access is critical for you, note that the WiFi is spotty and satellite is thin on choices, but then again, you don't come here to watch the TV. Thoroughly enjoyed our week, recommend this property, and now plan to make it a yearly destination!

Fabulous place to stay
This review is long overdue! We booked this place in Oct 2020 because the pictures seemed to indicate it was a lovely place. To our surprise, we found the house and the location to be FAR better! It's an older house, but very private, at a very high location which gives you some breathtaking views, right at the foot of a long beautiful hike, and yet a 10min drive to the city center. Perhaps the only peeve we had was that we wanted it to be a working holiday but the internet was at 500kbps, so we ended up tethering from our phones. So there's internet, but don't count on doing any real work with it. But the 5 stars are not for the place, although that itself would deserve the stars. There were fires raging towards the end of our stay and we were overwhelmed by the care taken by the owners to make sure we were safe. The owner's daughter was so kind - she kept a close tab on the situation, eventually asked us to leave a few hours earlier just to be safe, refunded us for the time that we did not stay at the hour, and even offered her own house for us to stay before we caught our flight! She stayed up well past midnight into the wee hours of the morning until she knew we were definitely out of harm's way. We cannot thank her enough for being so caring and kind! I highly highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a beautiful family vacation.

Beautiful Views
This house was perfect for our family. There is so much space and the living and kitchen area is open with big windows facing the mountains. The view is to die for! Beautiful mountain views!! The hot tub is a big bonus especially after hiking in the RMNP all day. We had deer, chipmunks, and rabbits in the yard. We loved it and would definitely stay there again next time we are up that way.

1st hour lower level stool plugged up & next morning went to town to buy stuff to unplug. 1st night mouse in upper living area, next day mouse in lower area - left message on Sunday night, called on Mon & Tue to property manager, about 4:00 on Wed. pest control person came & set traps by Thursday Morning had trapped four mice and the day we left Friday one more in trap - That was a big negative on our trip - The views were really nice.- the mice and plugged stool not so nice.

Awesome views
Top of the World was an amazing place to spend a week! Views from the upper deck were breathtaking. Although there are other homes nearby they are fairly spread out so it feels very secluded. Amenities were great, from the kitchen to the hot tub. Ten-minute drive into downtown Estes Park and then Rocky Mountain National Park. On clear nights the sky is pretty dark and good for stargazing - we got a good look at the Neowise comet. Would definitely stay here again as a base to explore RMNP.

Literally the best view in Estes Park! Possibly in the entire US
We chose this cabin for the view and it did not disappoint! Indescribable beauty right outside your windows. The cabin was well equipped. We didnt have the door code when we arrived late at night but they were quick to resolve the issue. Not a luxury cabin, but that is a good thing when you have children. The hot tub was fantastic! Theres also a sauna in the downstairs bathroom near the hot tub. There is plenty of space in this cabin for large families. Our children really enjoyed the piano also (they are older and know how to play some things). No smart TV's but there is a Wii downstairs and there are some board games under the bar. Never ran out of hot water. Washer and dryer work great and large capacity. These are some things that made our stay easier. Plenty of towels and all basic household supplies. Good heat. Didnt get cold in the house while it was below 0 outside with 60 mph winds. Very close to town too!

Beautiful Views & Beautiful House
House was in excellent condition with everything we needed. We loved the outside deck for stargazing and mountain viewing. We used the kitchen appliances to make breakfast. We loved the spacious living area where our son could run around and play. The beds were comfy and bathrooms clean. The house is a quick drive from Estes Park for shopping, elk spotting, food and drink, etc. Loved everything about our stay here.

Beautiful scenery
The scenery from this property is absolutely breathtaking. It was important to us to be able to wake up and eat breakfast and then also end our day eating dinner and ice cream still looking at the mountains...and this home was perfect for that! A few suggestions... #1- Supply more towels as everyone in our group had only 1 towel to shower with and then also had to use that same towel for out at the hot tub. It would be very helpful to keep 6-8 towels out by the hot tub and then have at least 10 inside the house for use in the bathroom and sauna area. #2- It seemed silly that we had to drive into town to pick up a “key” but it was actually just a code to enter into the front door. Just would be helpful to have that sent via email to save the extra stop. ;) #3- I would always suggest having stainless steel cookwear as the nonstick type are always scratched up in rental properties and not desirable to cook with once they are scratched. Overall, even with my suggestions, we enjoyed our stay, loved the home and made some wonderful memories on top of the world! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! Blessings.

Perfect Family Vacation
This property was perfect for our family vacation to Estes Park. The views from the back deck are amazing! We spent lots if time on the deck relaxing and taking in the mountain air. The fully stocked kitchen allowed us to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner as a family at the house. The hot tub is the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring Rocky Mountain National Park. The neighborhood is very quiet. The pictures accurately illustrate the properties beauty. We would definitely rent this property again.

8517 ft elevation
Darling home in a VERY quiet mountaintop enclave near Panorama Peak Trail. Deer, birds and wildlife abound. No better views of Long's Peak and city lights off into the distance. Some recent updates to property interior. A full 1,000 ft. elevation above the City of Estes Park with a 0.75 mile winding drive to the top. Owner and home were both great, but should address some smaller maintenance issues which were neither anticipated or expected in a $$$ residence. That said, we would stay here again in a heartbeat. My 2 cents: If your dates are available, book this home immediately. You will not regret it.

Excellent, large vacation home in Estes Park, CO
This is an excellent property which provides great views of the Rockies and a great place to get together with family or friends. Our family gathered from Colorado, Florida, and Iowa to celebrate a birthday, and the home was large enough for a bigger event. Everything was in working order including the grill, sauna, hot tub, and kitchen appliances. The location is very close to Rocky Mountain National Park and a short drive to Estes Park, so there was plenty to do. We would return to this location in the future!

Stunning Views
The view from the house's balcony and patio was nothing less than stunning, and I live in Colorado. The house was well maintained, kitchen had the utensils and supplies needed to do our cooking. Hot Tub was in great condition. Internet/wifi worked well. Peaceful and quiet. It is about 5 miles east of Estes Park, so easy to go into town. While there, got to see the hugh Elk herd migrate through town. I truly can't think of anything that was wrong with the stay.

Great place for a family vacation!
The Top of the World was chosen for its location and views and it did not disappoint. The house was a perfect place for my mom, sister and husband, daughter, grandson, myself, and my boyfriend to hang out for a long five day weekend in September. There were great trails within walking distance from the front door that were lots of fun to explore, and plenty of things outside the house to keep my grandson climbing and entertained. We picked up a blow up bed as the loft bed really wasn't comfortable or big enough. We set it up in the wii room which worked great for us. The hot tub wasn't working but maintenance came out Saturday evening and got it going which we enjoyed immensely for the remainder of our stay. And just a note, when the wind is blowing, it's nearly impossible to get the grill to hear over 250 degrees, lol! It absolutely howled a night while we were there. It was fun to listen to! The kitchen was well stocked and spacey enough for a few cooks in the kitchen. We really enjoyed having coffee on the deck in the mornings. Both decks had plenty of room and were well used. Overall, it was a really great choice for our family; an awesome house with beautriful mountain views and plenty of room inside and out for the family to have space or be together. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

A near perfect vacation spot high in the mountains with a spectacular view!!!
Very nice home with a very comfortable feel, room for everyone, everything you need for a great vacation... The view is spectacular up high into the Roosevelt National Forest, with perfect views of the mountain range and Long's Peak, yet close enough to Estes Park (10min drive to downtown). The house was very comfortable and clean. We truly enjoyed our 5 day stay in mid- September and hope to get back there some day soon!
