Very nice dishes, glassware, silverware, serving pieces, bakeware, crock pot, blender, electric skillet, electric can opener, dish towels, and more. This door can be locked or open. Nice if you have small children and want them near. Otherwise, easily closed. There is a TV in this room that is not connected to cable but you can bring your own Fire Stick or other device. Also a nice window to view the mountain behind the house. The bath has an easily accessible walk in shower. Hair dryer provided and towels. The other room has a King bed with linens, two nice windows with pleasant views! The bathroom is a Jack and Jill style that doubles as the guest bath entered from the kitchen/dining. It has 2 doors and both can be locked either side. Easily accessible walk in shower. Our group of eight friends had a great weekend exploring Estes Park and relaxing at this house. There was plenty of room so everyone had their own space and the common areas were large enough to accommodate the entire group. We'd stay there again!

Great trip!
We loved our week long stay at this house! This was our first trip to Estes and we loved everything about it! The house was just as described, and extremely clean and comfortable for our group of 8. The house is in a great location, just a short drive to town and entrances to RMNP. We saw mule deer next to the house and elk out and about every day. The hot tub was a great addition to the property. Chris was great and he checked in a couple times to make sure we didn’t need anything and answered any questions we had right away. Would definitely recommend this property.

Perfect place to rest and recharge
Located on the West side of Prospect Mountain the view from the front porch is dominated by Long’s Peak and overlooks Mary’s Lake and the night sky is incredible. We spent every morning (with our coffee) and every evening (with something stronger) sitting on the porch talking and reminiscing and took some meals outside. The location is very quiet and relaxing. The house stayed cool with the daytime highs in the 80’s, even though there is no AC. The wild life was primarily mule deer being mid-August and pre-rut. The Beaver Meadows entrance to RMNP is about 10 minutes away, depending on traffic. We just spent a week here on a siblings’ trip to take part of our parents’ ashes to RMNP. The house is very well maintained and supplied with basic necessities (TP, laundry/dishwasher soaps, paper products, etc.). The local caretaker is very pleasant and responsive. Thanks for all the help and information, Chris. With the 3 King sized beds and bathrooms for each of the main floor bedrooms this is definitely a great place for a group of adults. You should note that the house does sit up the side of the mountain and Little Prospect Rd off of Peak View Dr. is not paved. You best plan to drive something with some ground clearance. Our CR-V had no trouble, but our Camry might have.

We loved this property! The location was perfect - fishing at lake Estes, hiking, near the YMCA of the Rockies- lots of great restaurants. The set up was perfect for our family and the hot tub was an added touch of fun. The kitchen has everything you need- completely stocked! Gas grill was perfect for a few meals at home. 10/10!

Fabulous Find
This home was fantastically close to the entrance of RMNP! The neighborhood is quiet, house was clean with so much space to spread out. There were five of us staying together and we all had our own bed! Only two people shared a room. The kitchen was large enough for all of us to move around and make our own meals each night. We didn't use the back living room as we weren't at the house much, but it looked like an amazing place to sit and watch aovie or chat. We utilized the hot tub and saw at least one animal each evening including a deer mama and her fawn. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evening and had everything we needed right at the house. Chris communicated with us about issues before we arrived and gave us tips and ideas for our stay. Very easy to work with. Everyone on the trip said they would stay here again in a heartbeat! So thankful to have found this home! We'll be back for sure!!!

Pleasant, comfortable, relaxing retreat
My wife and I had our daughters and their husbands and two grandchildren. It was really nice for everyone to have their own space and bathroom. We relaxed, enjoyed the view, took advantage of the close proximity of the gate to Rocky mountain, the trailhead to Long's Peak, and hanging out downtown. It was a great vacation.

We stayed with our 3 teenagers and the property was perfect! We each had our own space and plenty of restrooms! But also had a nice big comfy place to hang out and watch movies in the evenings! The hot tub was an extra bonus - we all enjoyed that in the evenings!

Nice place but Hot tub was gross
The place was nice but we had a few issues. The hot tub was unusable. Super dirty. When brought up to the property manager he said the hot tub guy told him it was chlorine. Definitely had a lot of nasty stuff floating around in it and it was gross cloudy. Also the water from the faucets and sinks is orange tinted. He said it was from a lot of iron in the water. The banister at the top of the stairs was missing a pole and the gap was big enough for our 2 year old to fall through so we had to be really careful with that. Kitchen had basics only. Also the listing never said no smoking ANYWHERE on the property. We would never let someone smoke in the house but to have to walk down the street to smoke was a bit inconvenient especially when we were getting hail for several hours.

Multiple issues
We had several issues due to poor prep/planning by the host. We had no hot water when we got to the house. Turns out they had the propane tank refilled and never confirmed hot water heater was relit. Host was willing to send someone to check it out but said they couldn't move the fridge to access the water heater. We ended up having to move the refrigerator ourselves and relight the water heater. They left six full size towels for eight people. Again we had to contact the host and after some back and forth were able to get additional towels. Lastly, pillows on the couches were dirty and do not appear to have ever been washed. House was a good space, but would not stay again due to these issues.

Perfect home for everything Estes and Rockies!
This home was perfect for our family of six. We loved the location- daily walks to the lake, daily sightings of elk herd, minutes drive to downtown Estes and RMNP. It had just about everything we needed (curtains and screen suggested for upstairs bedroom) for our stay. Plenty of cookware and kitchen utensils, seating around the house, comfy blankets and linens. Home was very clean and the hot tub worked great. We would highly recommend this home for anyone hoping to visit Estes Park!

Cute and roomy, but needs serious TLC work
Stayed for an entire week so we could enjoy Rocky Mountain N. P. (*) and Estes Park. (* If you don't know about RMNP's timed entry system :( , stop here, go back to go, visit RMNP's web site, and replan your trip accordingly). The house is roomy with two living rooms, 4 bedrooms, two living rooms. laundry room and almost three bathrooms. The bathroom shared with a bedroom and dining area has a retrofitted corner shower that is too small to be functional. The house layout is somewhat like a maze, but give it a few days to sink in. There are lots of electrical plugs, but few where you need them. Light switches are located in puzzling locations. The newly added outdoor hot tub is really nice. Watch the deer and hawks after a day of hiking. We're not really sure if the owner cares that much about this home. We found the trash cans in the garage overflowing; dead mice in the garage; some of the pots, pans, glasses and dishes dirty; the refrigerator shelf over the crisper drawers missing (seriously limits food storage for a group of four hungry adults); and a heating thermostat with a mind of it's own (we finely just turned off the heat, because it refused to hold any newly programmed settings and wanted to run at 75 degrees 24/7.) One of the most annoying items should be the easiest to fix. For the first time in decades at staying at VRBO's, we found no welcome notebook binder with instructions and checkout information. Zilch information on anything. Until some of the basics are fixed and attended to, it's difficult to give a "yes" to "recommend".

Great Mountain Home!
We stayed here for 3 nights in August and we would highly recommend this home. It's very close to RMNP entrance and the downtown area. The home was clean and the property manager and owner were easy to communicate with. Nice view of Lake Mary. Plenty of deer in the neighbor and Elk around town. We enjoyed our stay and would definetely stay here again!
