We are now proud to present this 1908 Historic Cottage. Riverside Cottage was built on land once owned by Lord DunRaven. We have lovingly restored this Cottage by maintaining the character and charm of days gone by and improving the home with modern amenities. It is conveniently located in the center of the Village of Estes Park across the road from the River Walk Park. Easy walk to all shopping, restaurants, and festivals in Town Park. Easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park.

Beautifully Restored Cabin next to Downtown Estes
This cabin is beautiful and very well appointed. The beds were comfortable, sheets were amazing and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location was great being so close to downtown where we could walk to shopping, restaurants. Durango, Mark and Toon were fantastic hosts and very responsive.

Great stay, house was as advertised. The only negative was beyond the owners control and just something to be aware of. Heavy traffic and construction created significant congestion out front of the house.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful mid July stay at the cottage. It all began with very clear communication with the hosts on the day of arrival. From there we settled in quickly after an easy trip to the store. We absolutely loved the location. A perfect way to head into RMNP for a day of hiking then return, park the car and walk everywhere in town for dinner and shopping! We were concerned about the construction but it was really a non issue. Encourage others to reserve the cottage for their next stay in Estes Park…we will. ;)

We came to estes park for our aunts wedding as well as our first sibling trip and we had a great time. The cottage was located in the perfect spot and was close to all the stores and resturants. We cant wait to come back and stay again.

Great Cottage in Estes Park
This property is perfect for a couple or small family. The interior is completely updated, yet its best original features are maintained. It contains all amenities anyone would need and was very comfortable. Location is great for Estes Park activities and Rocky Mountain National Park. Owners Durango and Mark are super responsive and very pleasant to deal with. 5 stars overall.

Perfect location...Beautiful home...Wonderful kitchen and modern appliances.

Spectacular house in a great location
Pictures don’t do this property justice. We were all blown away by the attention to detail when they took this down to the studs and brought it back to it’s original glory. The location is perfect for us, as you can walk to town and it’s a quick drive to the park. Mark, the owner, was great with communication. They were doing construction when we went, but it wasn’t a big deal at all and Mark made sure we were taken care of. We will definitely be booking this property again!

Post Christmas get-away
Coming from TX, in search of winter weather and Christmas charm - Riverside Cottage and Estes Park did not disappoint! The location was awesome! We could get wherever we wanted with a 5 minute walk or a 5 minute drive! The cottage was beautifully designed and furnished with updated bathrooms and kitchen! The owner and property manager will very accessible and so kind! We had a blast and appreciate such an amazing property! Thank you!

Upstairs nicely done. Pretty but not inviting. To many signs. Not inviting.museum like.
Beautiful upstairs but would clear some kitchen counter space. Bathroom and bedding fabulous. Fly and bug issue in master basement bedroom and bathroom intolerable. Dead flies in bed. Flys on you constantly. Slept 1 night down, rest upstairs. Flies started coming up. Really ruined it. Plus, neighbor is a tenant and hangs outside kitchen window. Need blinds desperately. Construction was awful outside home. Early and loud.

This is a VERY nice home in the middle of Estes Park CO. I would highly recommend this property. When we got to the property, we wanted to try some wine and spirts. When we used google maps the distance to a winery and a distillery was listed in feet!!! the place is even nicer than the pictures, rent this place and you will be very happy. Representative checked with us to make sure everything was great a couple of days into our stay. Just a great place

Great local, except for loud construction
This was our 2nd trip here and it's a gorgeous, spacious house with nice common areas. Our main complaint was the loud construction happening right outside the house. They started early and big machinery and lots of workers constantly up and down the street. I would recommend once the road/construction work is completed.

Beautiful cottage in great location
We stayed here with our two teenagers. The home is beautiful! I loved the restored woodwork and the new modern bathrooms with antique touches. Loved using the fireplace. House has everything you need. Hosts were kind and easy to communicate with. We could walk to the main street for food and shopping easily and avoid paying for parking. Only a 5 min drive to RMNP entrance. We rented e-bikes (Backbone Adventures), took a jeep tour (Wildside), and hiked 2 days in RMNP. Although we had timed entry passes we got up early and entered into park before they were needed. Saw Elk, Deer, Moose, Long Horned Sheep, Turkey, and Marmot. Drove to Alpine Visitor Center. Hiked Bear Lake and Nymph and Dream Lake. Hiked Chasm Falls. Wish we had bought proper hiking shoes and the trails were wet and snowy. Sneakers were not ideal. Smokin Dave's BBQ was great!

Rocky Mountain hideaway paradise!
We recently returned from a family trip to Colorado and were lucky enough to spend some time at Riverside Cottage in Estes Park. We were blown away by the meticulous attention to detail and obvious love and care that went into renovating this beautiful home with gorgeous antiques and woodwork everywhere. It not only looked nice, but was amazingly comfortable for our family of 6, with comfy beds and plenty of room to relax and enjoy. The bathrooms were exactly what you could wish for - spotlessly clean, with plush linens, lots of light and to-die-for fixtures and tile work. The well stocked kitchen made all our cooking a breeze and we took most of our meals alfresco on the cute patio. The location itself was perfect, just a short stroll along the river leads you to downtown Estes Park, where we found plenty of shopping and restaurants. A 10 minute drive puts you at the front gate of Rocky Mountain National Park, where we hiked by day and star gazed by night (no light pollution, it's amazing!) Tired feet and sore muscles were very appreciative of the large soaking tub in the downstairs bath - it was heaven! We've already recommended this property to others, our only slight caveat would be it's perhaps not the best fit if you have boisterous or small children. Our two careful girls were fine, but it might be stressful for parents keeping watch over the obviously treasured furnishings of this beautiful home. But for older children or adults with an eye for style, proceed and enjoy! Otherwise, we would recommend it unreservedly and hope to make it back there again.

Perfect Location and Weekend Away
Gorgeously renovated property, the craftsmanship was incredible! The location was perfect for walking in to town, and for our mixed ages group to come and go independently. Whatever construction there was earlier in the year is completed and the area has a very nice and fresh feeling. The layout of the house was ideal for our group to be able to hang out downstairs after kiddo went to bed. The bathrooms were so large and stunning, and the upstair shower made us sad to go back to ours. The couches are probably nearing their end of comfortable life, but were fairly typical for a rental. My only small issue was that I couldn't find any kids plates/cups/utensils that were advertised in the listing, but my 5yr didn't break anything so we made it work :o) Definitely would recommend to anyone wanting a beautiful stay that is beyond convenient to Estes Park!
