We enjoyed our stay, but wow, the house was quirky. Starting with finding the place - the front door is on the uphill part of the building - ignore the lock box by the garage. Bottom level hot in August - and confusing because there were thermostats down there, but no air vents. AC loud and ran constantly to cool the main level. Upstairs shower door only could open ~18 inches because it hits a beam. 1 shower had a shower curtain too short and a window with no screen, so bugs flew in. Bunk bed room fits 3 max. There are 2 hideabeds, but you would need to move a very heavy center table someplace to use either of them. Fitting 10 people would be difficult. No kitchen table. Deck has a table, but it's too wide so chairs are difficult to move. Edge of deck has issue with a plank being too thin which is a tripping hazard. The floor warmer was on in summer and we couldn't figure out how to turn it off. It seemed to be adding unwanted heat downstairs. No tools for BBQ. The views are amazing, but for some odd reason, there are bug screens covering even the top windows that don't open. So, for all windows, you look out of screens. The stove is difficult to operate. Light not functional in laundry room. Place has issues, but it was all good - the hiking is fantastic in the area.
