The Leonardo Hotel in Esslingen is my go to when visiting Esslingen. The hotel has nice rooms, parking, and is just a short walk from the Altstadt. I just like it and so I stay here.

Very nice place. But an uphill hike from the HBF. No stairs. Modern. Could use more than 3 dishes. Good for minimum cooking. We enjoyed staying in Adina. Have stayed in others, and have found all good.

Room was excellent. We had a 1 bdrm space with a separate living space with table, couch, and kitchenette. The room was spotless and comfortable. Public transportation was right around the corner and easy to use.
