"Long weekend to visit the excellent Esslingen Christmas market. The apartment was clean and well presented. Accessing the property is by a keypad and code on front door and the room door. Initially we had the wrong code, which is exasperating when one has travelled a long way and just need to get into a hotel room. "Tolle Lage am Waldrand und auf dem Hang mit toller Sicht ins Tal. Mal eben zu Fuß in die Innenstadt ist natürlich nicht drin, das ist weit draußen. Abgesehen von den völlig unnötigen Geräuschen im Haus (Türenschlagen) ist es naturruhig, Verkehr ist nur in der Ferne leider zu hören, aber die Tiere können draußen in der Nacht auch jede Menge Lärm machen. So ist es eben. Zimmer ist klein, aber hell und freundlich und sinnvoll eingerichtet - klare Empfehlung."

"The first day was harrowing. We arrived early and were lucky that the front desk was staffed. We were told that after the receptionist's shift ended, someone else would take over after a short break. We never saw the second receptionist. After that, though, it was smooth sailing. The rooms are clean, the beds exceptionally comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. We stayed four days, and we would go back any time."
