"Slept so well in this quiet retreat in older part of town. On warmer days feel like sitting outside with the large sliding door open. Apartment appointed with anything you might need. Nearby pharmacy, bank, Casino and cafe and brasserie and restaurants within 1 km walk. Good takeaway kebab just steps out the door. Lovely market and easy town to use as base for visiting Lot and Cele area with many medieval towns, Peche Merle, etc. Would stay afain anytime back in this area."

"Ambiance familiale dans ce petit village de vacances situé à l'écart du village de Salviac où se trouve un petit supermarché, et à une petite 1/2 heure de la vallée très touristique de la Dordogne ( principaux châteaux, balades en canoë, etc ). Notre logement était petit mais fonctionnel et comportait tout l'équipement nécessaire. L'intimité de chacun est assurée par un espace conséquent et par des haies judicieusement disposées. "This is an annexe that has the owners stamp on it and is all the better for it. As a bijou gite for 1 or 2 people it’s ideal. Albas is a fabulous location with easy access to the river, cycle routes and the vineyards. The whole area is utterly gorgeous! The sheltered terrace is lovely private space and you get a real sense of being part of the village. The walk behind the house up to the table d’orientation is well worth it, as is the red wine produced from the local vineyard. Sylvain the owner...

"The perfect house for a family holiday. We loved the garden, pool and all the different areas and the fully equipped house felt like a home from home. It was handy that the local town was so near and had all we really needed but also lots to see and do around. Communication with the owner was very good. It was everything we needed, and more!! We are already planning our next trip!"

"The property is lovely. It had everything you could possibly want including games , books, bbq along with, every conceivable kitchen utensil. The owners provided very detailed instructions as to how to get there,how to get in, how to operate the appliances. It was brilliant. The property is in a gorgeous little village just a few metres along the road. We were also able to use the local campsite facilities too which was lovely."

"Property is basic but ideal to use as a base if planning to spend most of the time out with family. Good location for easy access to Villefranche and reading books in the garden. Used it as a bed and breakfast really, Been twice, will go again."

"Le rapport qualité/prix n'y est absolument pas ! Accueil mitigé, une liste de ce qu'il ne faut pas faire. Salle de séjour mal éclairée le soir avec les odeurs de la fosse d'égout à proximité. Il a fallu demander un poste de TV pas plus grand qu'un ordinateur pour 8 personnes et l'installer nous mêmes ! Le terrain est vaste, seule qualité du lieu !"
