"We stayed here as attending a friend's wedding and booked a triple room. What we got was a chalet with two separate bedrooms which was brilliant. Breakfast was in the castle cellar - plenty of choice and very nice quirky space. The food at the wedding was absolutely fantastic with great service. Grounds were lovely too with beautiful views over the lake and marina. Only thing I didn't like was being overcharged on checking out even though the reservation was printed on paper first but when...

"Really disappointing. We weren't expecting any exceptional but were so tired when we arrived that we didn’t question our room and we were staying for 2 nights. We ended up in a hostel room and for a couple in their 50's with aches and pains, it was just ok, but certainly not comfortable. We were given no information about onsite facilties and only found out about the breakfast room and the wifi this morning as we were packing up. "Very basic, no frills. It should, I feel, be made clear that you need to bring your own bedding and towels as by the time you've paid to hire these you could have stayed somewhere a lot better! You're also required to clean before you leave. Chalet clean enough apart from bathroom being rather smelly. "
