"When my wife booked this hotel for me we both saw the pictures they posted and it looked beautiful! When i got there i was sent to a building across the street. I entered the building and straight away did not like what i saw. None the less i went to the room. It was NOTHING like the advertised pictures and if i had seen this i would no way have stayed here. "The room was just about "OK". The surcharge for double occupancy over single occupancy for a double room was unreasonably high. Finally, when we informed the hotel three days in advance that we would NOT be having breakfast on our last morning, they still insisted on charging us for two breakfast, which was very upsetting."

"Alpenhotel Allgau has a good location in Schwangau, close to the Neuschwanstein Castle, Hohenschwangau Castle, Museum of the Bavarian kings. The rooms were small and the beds were rather hard. The breakfast was a essentially a continental breakfast of rolls and coffee. The signage is poor and the entrance is hard to spot. Check in was easy but checkout was difficult because their credit card processing machine didn't work and had to be re-started.I wouldn't stay there again but rather will plan...

"Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub. Die Wohnung ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Wir sind mit dem Bus zur Zugspitze und Eibsee, die Fahrt dauert etwa 10 Minuten. Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen und der Blick aus dem Fenster atemberaubend. Klare Empfehlung!"
