This newly refinished space is a great place to spend time relaxing and enjoying the beautiful views after a fun day of exploring the Escalante Grand Staircase National Monument. A King size bed, sofa with pullout bed, tv, dining table and wifi make this studio style home a cozy place to stay on your journey along Highway 12. The small kitchen and kitchen supplies allow for preparing simple meals. The back patio has a bbq grill, dining set, and propane fire pit for enjoyable evenings outdoors.

Loved the place! Very clean and all amenities you could need! Really enjoyed the area although we were there for a short stay. Must do’s are North Creek Grille and Diva coffee. Seems to be a lot of local pride in Escalante.

Great Base for Exploring
We appreciated this home as a place to explore the area from (centrally located to so many things to explore). Having laundry facilities was great (we’d been hiking and exploring for extended period, clean laundry was wonderful). Our stay was very comfortable.

Escalante Stay
My friends and I had a short stay while passing through Escalante to explore the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, but we enjoyed the property and town of Escalante, nonetheless. The residence was clean, and the bed and couch were comfortable and allowed us much needed rest.

This was a wonderful place to stay to explore Capitol Reef, Bryce and the Grand Staircase area. So clean....perfect layout. Lots of room. New. Well stocked. Comfortable. Couldn't ask for more! Would recommend!!

The cottage was absolutely beautiful. It is perfect for a couple or small family. The view from the cottage is amazing. Host made check in a breeze and so simple. We would definitely stay again when in the area.

It was absolutely perfect for our needs!! The view was expansive and it was really clean, updated, and super comfortable!! The bed was the best and I had the best night sleep ever!! I highly recommend this beautiful place!

Just what we needed
This home was comfortable, clean and had what we needed for a cozy, little stay. We had a snow storm while in town, so we spent a lot of our time tucked inside. The hosts graciously shoveled around our car during our stay. Would stay here again!

Escalante is a great home base for area hiking/exploring. The town's grocery store, ice cream shop, and the Grand Staircase Escalante visitors center were much appreciated. Calf Creek Cottage is SPARKLING clean and has sweet thoughtful details. The set up is a single room (very capable kitchenette, king sized bed, pull-out couch, 4 person dining table) with two separate rooms off the side for bathroom and laundry. There is a nice back patio with a gorgeous view of the sunset. Would definitely stay again!

Hiking in Utah
We stopped in Escalante for 2 days as part of a trip through Utah to hike. This property certainly met our needs to have a base for hikes. The pictures represent the property well. It is close to town which has several decent options for eating out. We would stay there again.

My husband and I were very happy with this little house. Our stay was very comfortable. The house had everything we needed to make meals. The only challenge was getting the tv to work. I would highly recommend this place. Perfect for two but could sleep 4 people without a problem.

Perfect Location for National Parks Visiting
We really appreciated everything about this cottage. The appliances are all high quality and we loved being able to do laundry in the middle of our vacation. The microwave/convection oven is a clever use of space and the stove top worked beautifully. After some interesting VRBO experiences with beds and showers, I will comment that both are excellent in this cottage. The location between Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef National Parks could not have been more ideal for our needs. We highly recommend this cottage!

This house suited our needs perfectly. Loved all the extra touches that made us feel comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised with stocked paper supplies, coffee, laundry detergent, etc. An added bonus since we are early risers was the rooster crowing on the outskirts of town each morning. Thanks for having us!

Cute and well outfitted
The place is exactly as advertised. It is nicely updated with modern appliances including induction cook top and washer/dryer. The kitchen is thoughtfully appointed with small appliances and implements to perform actual cooking, including having decent knives. It is an entire stand-alone albeit small house. There are no dedicated bedrooms. The fold out couch bed has a newer mattress that is far more comfortable than what you expect. This is a great value, location, and enjoyable place to stay in Escalante, Utah! We would stay there again.

Met Our Needs Well
The house was very clean and modern. The small kitchen area was perfect for our group. Even though it was small, the appliances were new and worked well. Having the toilet area in a different room than the shower is a plus! The big washer and dryer were also much appreciated. There are no closets and limited hooks which is the only negative to the place. Sheila communicated quickly each time I had a question. Overall it’s a very great place to stay!
