I wish I had stayed long enough and in a better season to make use of the nearby opportunities to enjoy the nature and scenery that surrounds. The deck overlooks and provides access to a deep bend of the placid Nolichucky river just down the hill. Shop and dine before you leave town... Greeneville is about 30 minutes...

"The Hemlock cabin was so warm and welcoming, with a Christmas tree and lovely holiday decor. It was very comfortable, with everything we needed. My husband and I were there with our daughter and our dogs, and it was perfect for all of us. The cabin was very clean, with plenty of room for everyone. The outdoor space is amazing, with a large field to walk the dogs and a fire pit right on the river. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!"

"Expected better! Yard was not kept at all, very overgrown with weeds and poison ivy, so we couldn’t enjoy the fire pit. Inside on first and loft was nice. Basement bedroom had mold on the walls and only a bed, no furniture in it. Dryer was broken."

For those city dwellers who have little experience with hilly gravel roads, like myself, make sure you drive up “fast”, don’t slow down so you don’t get stuck. Go down hill slow. "
