"We could not have picked a better location for our 5 day vacation in the beautiful Alsace. Fully renovated, updated and equipped Alsace original is decorated very nicely and comes with a lot of attention to detail in every room. The house does not leave a wish unfulfilled, the great location makes it easy for day trips within the Alsace. Communication with the owners was perfect and prompt. When you need information about Alsace or a dinner reservation in a nice, local restaurant, the owners were always helpful and supportive. We highly recommend the La Stube de Marinette "

"The only negative was that we had a room with an ajoining door to the next room, and we heard talking and tv and other noises through the door which was not very pleasant."

"Marguerite was a wonderful host and her house and garden are beautiful. There is plenty of room for a couple to relax. The lounge has two big sofas, nice lights and satellite TV. The kitchen is well-equipped, with a new oven and lots of pans and cutlery. The bedroom is comfortable and the shower is easy to use. We also appreciated the washing machine and iron. We were able to walk around the huge garden whenever we wanted (just watch the mosquitoes!) and Marguerite gave us apples from her trees. Plobsheim is a good base for Alsace, with two bakeries, several restaurants and quiet countryside. It is about 20 minutes’ drive from the centre of Strasbourg and close to motorways and the German border. We would thoroughly recommend the property and thank Marguerite for her hospitality. "
