"We were excited about booking this property when reading the posting. When we arrived later in the evening we found the only way to the front door was crossing a rickety, rotted out deck with nails sticking up all over. The strong odor of musty/mold greeted us when we opened the door. Host told us to just open some windows. Then we found there was a ladder type stairs to go up to the sleeping area. We are in our 70’s and can’t do stairs due to back and knee problems. But it was not listed in the...

"Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen. Auch unserer Hund hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Grundstück ist mit einer hohen Hecke eingezäunt. Lediglich Probleme gab es beim Ein- und Ausparken, der Parkplatz ist schon sehr eng zum rangieren. Gut, dass wir nur ein kleines Auto hatten"

"Everything was excellent! The staff gave us a warm welcome and we appreciated they had prepared our room key and documents in advance. Beautiful hotel and amazing dining. Quiet room and convenient parking. Nice location next to the royal palace, can walk the gardens. "

"The staff was fabulous! Per my previous request, a shower chair was put into our shower. When checking in, we were offered an accessible room if necessary, and were asked to please let them know if there was anything else we needed. They were always friendly and willing to help. "

great stay

"location was perfect for the event we were going to and had lots to offer in terms of supermarkets and restaurants. also the coffee from the bar in reception is really nice. hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful if needed. so much space in the room. bathroom was great. the only thing was the temperature control in the main room wouldn't go up so was slightly chilly."

"it located on a golf court,so the environment is very quiet and beautiful.The room is comfortable and it has very big bathroom,this is awesome.Pool and parking are great,we were able to charge our car on the property too,very convenient.We definitely recommend Double Tree hotel!"

"I stayed in the apartments they are a 5 minute walk from the main hotel and Hilversum Train Station and shops the number 5 bus stops close by. The apartment was very nice and in very good condition. Public transport is very cheap so you can save a lot travelling to the tourist destinations from Hilversum."

"close to major freeways and nature trails. Receptionist not very helpful explaining how to get to the room. The building has been added on several times with different levels, numerous odd staircases and several elevators to negotiate to get to the room. Bathroom is odd: lots of unused floorspace, yet hardly any shelf space next to sink for toiletries. Room lacks sufficient electrical outlets. "
