"The location on Lake Erie was just what we had hoped for. Driftwood Cottage was perfect for my husband and I with plenty of space. It was warm, clean and inviting just as the photos showed. "The home was clean and well stocked, though the tap water has a strong sulfur smell so bring some bottled water if that would bother you. There are squirrels making a home in the eaves and will chatter territorially while you sit on the deck, but they're cute.... noisy but cute. We had hoped to be somewhere near the lake, but the close by lake front areas were privately owned so there were no lake views nor lake access for walks along the shore. Kayaks were available but the canal was uninviting...

"We enjoy staying at Findlay Lake when we visit the ski area for the long holiday weekend. Sunny Side Up was a very nice and clean place. It was a little small for us and during the winter there is no access to the extended porch. We didn't spend a lot of time there (skiing all day) so it wasn't a big deal. We had a very nice time!"

"This cottage was perfect for our stay in Erie. Good location, convenient to get to Presque Isle, and places to eat. Nice area and quiet. We spent most of our time out and about during the day, and this was ideal for being able to cook our breakfasts and dinners , etc. It was everything that we needed including washer and dryer, comfortable bed, well stocked with spices, coffee filters, and bathroom products. We would stay here again if we found ourselves in the Erie area!"

"My family and I enjoyed our weekend stay. The owner was very responsive to all communication and was very nice to let us do a late check out. The house was plenty big enough for 4 adults, a child and two small dogs. Its in a great location central to everything in Erie. The house was clean upon our arrival and remodled very nice. For the nightly weekend rate it was more than resonable. My only complant would be that the outside stairs were covered in ice when we arrived. I know ice has been bad...

"We stayed in this home while our own home was having some renovations done. It was clean and pet friendly, which was great because we were able to take our two cats with us. I emailed the owners with some questions I had. They quickly responded and were very friendly. We were very comfortable in this home and enjoyed our stay there! As an added bonus, they even have sound machines to help you sleep at night. I loved it so much that I bought one for my own home!"
