"This villa was truly like living in a dream. It’s exactly how it’s portraits in the pictures. The host was very welcoming, had lots of recommendations of restaurants, taxis and more. The cleaning crew were spectacular, the random gifts (raki, wine, pastries etc) oh we love it there. It was private, clean, quiet and dreamy. "We stayed in Stelio’s villa in Stalida from 19-29/8. The Villa was well equipped and comfortable with a superb outside area where we spent a lot of time relaxing and socialising. "Although we had a great stay at Mitsis selection Laguna when booking this I booked a bungalow sea view , i felt I was cheated on the room rate because we ended up with a garden view / children play area , and looked nothing like what was advertised on the website . We queried this at reception which we were offered another room but to another garden view so it wasn’t worth the upheaval of our belongings but the receptionist took a contact number if an upgrade became available he would call us. Never got a call . At the end of our holiday we learnt that another couple got a free upgrade to a bungalow sea view with Jazzi because they weren’t happy with their view either so I was really disappointed that the cost of garden view room rate is less than what we paid for . apart from this we can’t fault the hotel , all staff were lovely and attentive food and drinks were great too "

"Very clean and comfortable room. The livingroom with several seating areas and large screen tv was a big hit for us. The buffet breakfast was amazing. So many Cretan savory and sweet food that we might not have had if it weren’t for this breakfast buffet. Every staff member that we met was friendly and helpful. It was a great hotel to stay in Heraklion."
