"We loved our 2 night stay at Namuae. The owners are a delight. Extremely friendly. Breakfast has all you need plus the opportunity to practice Korean drums. "Our stay here was lovely. The owner was kind and incredibly helpful — he gave us a map and directions on the best ways to see all the sights we were interested in. The rooms were spotless and the beds had heating pads, which were so cozy, as we were traveling in the fall and it was getting cool. All around a great stay — highly recommend for anyone looking for a more authentic experience unlike those you get at a regular hotel."

"This is a nice, clean hostel, that appears to be family owned. The family lives in one of the rooms. As such, it very much feels like their space, so not as much as a traditional hoste. When I arrived they actually were not expecting me although I had booked in advance. Apparently the manager had been sick so they did not see my reservation. "Loved the mother and son team. They were incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided a very clean and beautiful looking hanok. It was perfect in every way. The breakfast was a delight with a personal touch to it. The host replies efficiently via email even for my smallest questions and has great recommendation for dinner. Location is convenient and excellent for walking around all of gyeongju. Best service I’ve ever received in Korea. I would definitely recommend."
