"Unfortunately the spa was closed for cleaning while we were there, but the room and restaurant were very nice. Staff was helpful getting taxis and answering questions. Good breakfast with lots of options. The grounds are very nice as well. Would definitely stay here again to enjoy the spa."

"We had two family apartments. One which was the main floor, and one on the third floor. The main level was okay temperature wise with a travel fan; however, the third floor was horrible even with a travel fan. I would highly recommend investing in two fans per room or air conditioning. Bed was comfortable; however, I would invest in real pillows or definitely bring your own. Overall we had a lovely stay. The elevator did breakdown once but was fixed within 24 hours. "Das Hotel ist sehr schick, modern, idyllisch im Grünen gelegen. Das Frühstück ist lecker und bietet alles was üblich ist. Der Wellnessbereich ist neu und chic. Das Hotel ist sehr nachhaltig unterwegs, heizt leider die Zimmer nicht vor, daher sollte man nach dem Eintreffen die Heizung starten um dann nicht im kühlen nächtigen zu müssen. "Der Ort ist urig und ist irgendwie charmant, nur die Wohnung war sehr schmutzig. Der Müll von den Vorgängern war nich geleert und die Matratzen waren teils nur noch Schaumstoff ohne jeden Überzug. Man hatte den Eindruck, dass sich niemand um die Wohnung kümmert, was schade ist. "

"My stay at Hotel Gudrun was nothing short of perfect. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and will go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. I stayed at Hotel Gudrun for 1 week for a business trip, I would highly recommend this hotel and would certainly stay there again. The hotel is modern and clean, I highly recommend the eggs in the morning!"

"Ich hatte ausführlichen chat mit Euch. Es wurden drei Übernachtungen abgebucht. Obwohl 2 nur zwei Buchungen gibt. Wurde mir auch vom Hotel bestätigt. Ich werde es nicht akzeptieren und wenn keine Rückvergütung erfolgt bin ich kein Kunde mehr, Werde alles stornieren und auch Visa verständigen"

Great hotel

"New hotel, that was very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is about a 10 minutes walk from the centre of the town and 5 mins to the train station. Family room had a bunk bed and a double bed. Only bad thing is that the floors seemed thin as we could hear the child moving around the door above. If travelling alone the walk to the town involved a walk through an underground tunnel. We found no issues but it could put off a women on her own. There are alternative routes to town, but slightly longer."

"A family of four, we stayed in one of the junior suites, with a queen bed and a converted sofa bed. The room was very spacious, had large closet space, and the bath came with double sinks. The room had floor-to-ceiling windows with an absolutely breathtaking view over the Bodensee. Staff was all very friendly, though despite us speaking German and English, at times there were some language-based communication challenges with restaurant staff that could be improved. Our family also very much liked the breakfast buffet. It was super easy to grab a bus at a nearby bus stop to head down into town and enjoy the promenade. If there would be two things I'd love to see improve, it would be dedicated smoking / non-smoking sections for the restaurant's terrace. Like us, I noticed several other guests being disturbed by other guests smoking and taking away from what is otherwise a great outside breakfast and dining experience. The second thing, which I recognize will not be easy and certainly isn't a fault of the hotel / staff, would be to find a way to keep wasps at bay. There were plenty of wasps disturbing guests--including our kids--and it also took away from the experience while eating on the terrace. This was our first stay here and surely not our last--we look forward to coming back to this property!"
