"We stayed at Jacob's Lakehouse September 20-23 of 2024, wish we had booked for longer. Family of 10 and cottage was very spacious. For our family we could have probably used an extra room, but we knew what we were getting in to. There was so much to do, inside and outside, on the lake or venturing off the property like we did. "The property is absolutely gorgeous! We canoed and hung out by the fire pit. So lovely in the Fall. Very spacious inside. Lots of indoor activities as well. The kitchen should have been cleaner, but the upstairs was very clean. We didn’t find the jacuzzi very clean so we didn’t use it. "

"The property was very well looked after. The host added little thoughtful items like a basket of goodies on the kitchen table with cold drinks, cookies and snacks and miniature bottles of shampoo and soap in the toilets that made us feel welcome and cared for."

"My friends and I were happy to see that the cottage was as advertised - had plenty of space with four clean bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, functional a/c, etc. We were also pleasantly surprised at the extra items we could use, such as extra cooking oil, board games, and large floaties! However, we wished there had been some mention of how pervasive the seaweed is throughout the water for swimming, and that there had been a bit more communication answering our questions about check-in....

"My friend and I rented this place and really enjoyed it, we wish we could have stayed longer. It was clean and they did a lot with the space. The bedrooms were nice even though there were no photos of them and the area is quiet. The lack of photos is why I put 3 stars for accuracy since it was hard to know what the rooms would be like.
