"This is the only true hotel in Villena, and as a result it has seen its better days, but still continues to fill up as Villena is a vacation location. "We stayed in the area for one night and we were happy we booked Casa Rural. The host couple were so friendly, the area was lovely, and it was quiet. Our kids enjoyed petting the horses, swimming in the pool and they liked having the family room that offered a lot of space. Breakfast included tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh orange juice and an assortment of breads with ham, cheese and jams. Our stay was well enjoyed by the whole family and we warmly recommend it for a one night stay."

"If our room in this hotel is typical then they are in urgent need of attention. The bed was as hard as rock, half the motorised window blinds did not work (one was also ripped and another had hanging cables where the motor had been removed), the outer light-proof shutters were held open by wooden wedges.
