This luxurious villa, built on a very private 3/4 acre lot, sits well back from the road. Mature oak and palm trees line the driveway to this beautiful villa which is a mile from Manasota beach and five minutes drive to major stores and restaurants. Free wireless internet.

The large pool area offers complete privacy and overlooks a small pond and bird preserve. Palm trees to the rear add a special feature. At construction the upgrades throughout to create a luxury standard which is immediately noticeable with faux painted columns and other feature areas. The master and guest suites have king beds.

The house was perfect for our family vacation during spring break! We had 4 adults and 3 children. The house was perfect and the pool was a big hit for our kids. Great location with a short drive to different beaches and attractions. Would highly recommend!

Great stay even with a passing hurricane.
We had a wonderful stay and loved the house. Gareth was so nice to check on us as the hurricane was approaching and thankfully passed us. We will definitely be staying here again as it is a perfect location and a great house.

Massive manasota beach house !
Overall this is a wonderful home to relax in with plenty of space ! The description and photos are accurate. The host was very friendly and helpful. Big reflective House numbers on the mailbox would be helpful as arrived in the evening and had a hard time making sure we arrived at the correct home as it is set back from the road. The beach chairs umbrellas and other beach equipment that was provided made the trip to the beach very enjoyable. The heated pool was great !

Great Pool
Great house with so much room. Very well stocked with plenty of dishes, cooking utensils, pots and pans etc. The pool was kept at a very comfortable temperature the whole time we were there. Only draw back was the outdoor grill. It needs replaced with a NEW grill.

Manasota getaway
My wife and I made our yearly return to the Manasota area with our five kids and son-in-law. The house was the perfect central location for traveling between Venice and Englewood. We managed to hit sunsets at five beaches. It’s hard to beat the sunsets at Venice Beach. Manasota Beach is less than 5 minutes away. Be sure to check out Pop’s Sunset Grill at sunset. With the heat, we spent most of our time in the pool. The space was perfect for 8 people to be able to come together or spread out for privacy.

Perfect!
We stayed in the villa for just under two months (December and January) and found it to be perfect. The furnishings were great and the villa was wonderfully clean for our arrival. We did have one problem during our stay but Gareth rectified it very quickly. Overall, we can't overstate the quality of the villa. Highly recommended!

Lovely Villa
This villa is beautiful. Has everything you would want. Location and amenities are good, shops and restaurants are close by. The property was very clean and well maintained. The pool was lovely, kids really enjoyed using it to its full use everyday. The beach was very clean as well and very close. It was great watching the wild life in the grounds everyday. For us, there was only one downside to this lovely villa. The pond/lake at the rear of the property was foul smelling most days and unfortunately we were unable to eat outside due to the smell.

The property was perfect for our family (parents and 3 grown children). Close proximity to the beaches for shark tooth hunting or relaxing. Shark hunting supplies in the garage for your use. Pool was a good size for our family and was very peaceful. Inside the house had lots of space for our family to gather for meals, playing cards or just hanging out. The only thing that would have been nice would be some information at the house with restaurant, shopping/grocery store recommendations/options etc. We were able to find these things with a quick search on our phones but recommendations from the locals would hold a lot of weight for the guests. All around a very nice relaxing week for our family.

A wonderful stay!
Thank you Gareth and Eileen for allowing us to stay in the wonderful Manasota Manor. The villa really had the 'wow' factor for us and all the extra little amenities (toiletries, welcome pack etc) went a long way! The pictures just don't do this villa justice! The villa was clean (to a very high standard) when we arrived. Thank you also for providing a cot and highchair (free of charge) - we know that some management companies/villa owners charge for this! The location of the villa is perfect for the beach and shops/eating places. We would definitely recommend this villa to a friend and we can't wait to return! Hopefully see you next year!

Considering there was a hurricane that had swept Florida the house was very nice, the pool area was a bit of a disaster with netting missing but Gareth worked hard trying to get the pool area back to normal, but we had to wait 4 days for the pool man to come before we could use it. House was nice but needs to be updated

Great home!!
Beautiful home in a great location in south Venice area. Close to Manasota beach and blind pass beach, both excellent locations for shark tooth hunting. Pool was at a perfect 87 degrees, the two master en suites work perfect for us having to couples on vaca. Gareth has great communication and responds quickly. The pool area was our relaxing area after a day at the beach then to dinner then for a dip with wine to finish our evenings. Views of our neighbors on either side is restricted and having the Manasota preserve behind the home and looking at nature makes the pool area very private. If you want to visit the area of Sarasota to venice to Englewood and to port charolette, this makes a centrally location.

Quick drive to the beach
I thought the notes everywhere were a bit much. The house is nice. The pool was great. You could walk to the beach but I wouldn’t suggest it. No sidewalks and it’s blacktop to walk on. Not a safe walk for kids and you’re walking over the draw bridge and no sidewalks. Parking at the beach is free. Our only big complaint is the house wouldn’t cool past 72. We’re from Ohio and South Carolina and all of us thought it was hot at night. Plenty of room.

The house as far as renovations go was very nice. Where the house was lacking - the matresses were not very good, have smart tvs or roku do guests can stream shows, backyard was overgrown and pool should be cleaned more than once a week. At start of our week (Saturday) pool could have used a cleaning but was not cleaned until Tuesday. By Friday it could have been cleaned again.

Just The Vacation We Needed!
We rented this amazing property the week of the 4th of July, and it was just the right size for our family of six. The location is perfect! It is less than a mile from the beach(just a short drive/walk down the road) and close to lots of great restaurants. There is a nature preserve right behind the residence and although we never got to see an alligator we did catch a glimpse of a river otter while we were relaxing in the pool. We also got to see several Gopher Tortoises and plenty of rabbits. The property was very well kept and Mr. Evans was quick to respond even before the booking. We had a few special requests and questions during our stay and he even responded within minutes on a holiday. This was especially nice since the in-laws traveled with us. In fact, they enjoyed it so much they are already ready to plan our next trip back. Overall we could not have chosen a better property or host for my birthday location. If you are fortunate enough to book this property you will be glad you did.

Met our needs
This house was a perfect location and was exactly what we were looking for to accommodate our family. The overall cleanliness of the house was good; however, the decor was a bit dated and some of the sliding doors were not well oiled. We had one minor issue with the AC, but the owner had it fixed right away. The only negative comment we had was that the owner scolded me for not checking my email daily (while we were on vacation) to retrieve his message about trash pick up. We also felt as though he was ‘watching’ us since he told us the recycle bins were the wrong way on the street. While we appreciate him letting us know, we did feel as though our privacy was being invaded. Otherwise, it was a great house, location and visit. The pool and patio were excellent. Thanks!

Awesome property, rude owner
This house was clean, spacious and amazing. The pool is clean and awesome AND warm! The owner made sure the pool heater was running before we arrived. The only issue...as pointed out before..the owner is RUDE! We drove from MI and got there a lot later than we expected after 2 full days on the road with 3 young toddlers! We were exhausted, hungry and in need of access to a bathroom. The property was pitch black and we searched and searched through our emails for the key code to get in. We kept looking at the last 5 or 6 emails and especially the one labeled "here's your keys" to no avail. After about 20 minutes in the dark, really needing to get in..I texted the owner to please let me know the code and he called me back with this big long lecture about how he sent an email 2 days ago to locate the key code..well you know what we were probably driving and I'm sorry but how hard is it to text me some numbers so we can get out of the dark and into the house? It really upset me and made me afraid to ask him anything or let him know any issues we came upon during our stay. Turns out the key code is in the first email you ever get from him (sent 2.5 months prior to stay), which I never expected due to safety and privacy and figured it was changed with each renter..apparently not! My last rental experience (different owner) the owner offered restaurant and activity suggestions and made us feel free to text or call with any questions or concerns.. much more relaxing. Communication with the owner with questions prior to our stay were promptly and kindly responded to..not sure what happened once we arrived...But if you don't mind rudeness or can avoid him all together (he lives in the area and will come to get stuff out of the garage (or check up on you?)) This place is amazing! The decor is different or outdated but who cares when you're renting. The beach is a mile away and you can walk if you so desire or easy drive with free parking. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Great place!
