This renovated beach themed 2 bedroom, sleeps 6. Private beach is right across the street. This place has a unique and fresh look and feel. From the artist inspired kitchen to brand new beds, water was our inspiration. The cozy living room has all you need to relax and enjoy the tranquillity of Manasota Key. Watch the 55" flat screen, play some games or use the lightning fast wifi. This unit has all new appliances, mattresses and bedding. This palm tree oasis awaits.

Welcome to Starfish Stays. Our little piece of paradise is located about 250 steps to a pristine private beach on the blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Starfish Stays is setting the standard on Manasota Key as one of eight units at Starfish Stays on the unique Manasota Key of Southwest Florida.

Starfish stays is an easy 2 minute walk jaunt to the beach for gorgeous morning walks, shell and shark teeth collecting, swimming, sitting under an umbrella, basking in the sun or watching the most beautiful sunsets of the Gulf. Plenty of complimentary beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels in the unit. Two custom built outdoor showers hit the spot to rinse away the sand and salt. We make it easy for you to relax and enjoy your vacation.

The grounds of Starfish feature a beautiful pergola complete with gas fire pit, bbq, cornhole games and seating for eight!

The fantastic Stump Pass is 3 miles south of the property. Here you can fish, hike the nature trails, launch a boat or kayak or just relax on the secluded beach. Stump Pass is an excellent location for finding shark teeth. Parking is only $3 per day.

Blind Pass is one mile north on the key. There are nature trails, docks for fishing, kayak launches, and playground and picnic areas. There are public restrooms and outdoor showers as well as more beautiful beaches. Parking is free here and abundant.

Starfish Stays was completely renovated inside and out. Our property features 8 total vacations units. 1B is brand new and was completed January 2020. Everything is new down to the stainless appliances, queen size beds and custom countertop. Starfish 1B boasts a brand new queen bed, two new twin beds in the second bedroom, and a sofa bed w/ upgraded brand new memory foam full size mattress for added comfort. We offer a fully stocked kitchen, full bathroom, and all linens.

Starfish Stays has eight units on the same property! Four two bedroom units, 3 studios, and a one bedroom unit. We can accommodate larger groups in several units.

We have our own private beach access, a TWO minute walk to the sand. Looking to avoid the big beach crowds? Our private beach is wide, sandy and PRIVATE.

Great little cottage location close to beach! Super cute finishes and comfortable beds. We had everything we needed for a perfect birthday weekend. Host was great at communicating and helped with everything needed. Loved the outdoor showers and swing and fire pit.

Fantastic place!
The apartment was spotless, everything that you may need in the kitchen and bathroom. Location is the best, the private entrance is right across the street, 5’ walk. The beach is not busy at all, beautiful and clean. We’ll be back for sure!! Thanks, we really enjoyed our stay. :)

Wonderfully equipped beach apartment
The property is absolutely beautiful, very vibrant and clean. Each unit has a nice outdoor seating area and under utilized bbq area with outdoor games. Its a short walk from the amazing beach access, approximately 3-5 minute leisurely walk. My family absolutely loved the beach and the unit was incredibly comfortable and decorated lovely. We would absolutely come.back again!

Family Fun at the Beach!
We had a great week at the beach! Starfish Stays was clean, cute and close to the beach! The condo had everything we needed and the owners were very quick to answer any questions we had. The beds were amazingly comfortable. The beach was beautiful and not crowded. Starfish Stays is dog-friendly so it was fun bringing our dog on her first vacation! We will definitely return!

No need to pack for the beach. Everything is there for you. Floaties, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels. Private beach only a min walk and wonderful local restaurants. Thank you for making our short getaway forever memorable! Will definitely be back!

Family Holiday Getaway
The unit was very clean and pictures were accurate. Had some beach supplies which helped chairs etc. only down side was the stairs to the beach I am not sure if a section of the stairs was missing but the bottom few steps were not there making it a 3’ drop into the water. Did not work well for someone who couldn’t jump down or climb up which was our case. We went a short distance to Middle beach which is nice but very crowded for the Memorial Day holiday. We did find an access a little further down one of the other renters told us about and used that on the other day and that worked perfectly. Overall great stay and would recommend just beware of beach situation.

Great olace
This was a great place to stay for our first trip to Manasota Key. The location was far from restaurants or activities so we drove to everything (we just didn’t know the area). The beach is a short walk across the street but the beach is small and tide stayed high. The condo was very clean, no complaints there at all. I will say the listing says it’s recently renovated but in 2020, so the wear is starting to show again. Either way, we recommend this place for a couple or small family. The owners were responsive up front and we needed nothing during our visit. Manasota Key is a great place to visit and I am hopeful we will be back!

Perfect Accommodations and Location
Very well appointed space. Everything we needed to relax and enjoy beach time. Close enough to enjoy spring training baseball and plenty of beach time. Kitchen has everything needed as well. Clean, comfortable perfection. Plenty of restaurants/bars close by and free rides to them with "Stumpy." But don't forget to tip for the ride....Short walk to private beach area. Loved it.

Hidden Gem
Hard to put into words as it was wonderful from check in to check out. Unit was immaculate and had all we could need. Decor was tasteful and comfortable. Location was amazing, easy walk over to one of the most beautiful beaches I have been to in US and Caribbean. Met owner Paula,and son on site, she was terrific. Mr Clay, groundskeeper on site most days and was great to talk to and helpful with anything you may need. Other guests at rental property and on mostly private beach were so incredibly friendly. Can't wait to return!! Exceeded my expectations!! Thank you for sharing!!

Just Charming!
We loved our time at Starfish Stays at Manasota Key. The unit was just like the photos--Charming.! Totally renovated, we enjoyed everything about it--comfortable bed, beautiful custom decorations, and nicely-stocked kitchen. They have beach chairs and umbrella in the unit for you to use at the beach and there is a great outdoor shower to use when you get back. Beautiful gulf beach is just a short walk away, the setting is quiet and relaxing. The owners and caretaker could not have been nicer! Our family has used several vacation rentals the last few years for family get-togethers, etc. This was definitely the cleanest, best stocked we've stayed at! 5 stars+!!! Thanks Paula and Linda!
