In the heart of the home you will find the open plan living. The kitchen comes fully equipped with stylish crockery, glassware, cutlery and every appliance you can think of, from a Breville coffee machine through to a bread maker and everything in between.
Enjoy effortless cooking with front row seats to spectacular sunsets in this lush kitchen which has enough bench room to cater for an entire army.
A comfortable lounge area adjacent to the kitchen with a combustion heater, low line couches inviting you to enjoy relaxing evenings either watching the Oceanic world go by, or watching all the sports and movies you desire on the large smart flat screen TV.
Large floor to ceiling sliding doors open out to the extensive deck, making a seamless transition to alfresco living. This gorgeous area comes complete with a large dining table, and Weber bbq facilities.
The large open plan set up of the home allows family, friends and children to socialise and commune, but also to have their own space. The seamless indoor/outdoor flow offers for an easy connect for outdoor dining and easy supervision of the children.
In the surrounds enjoy the tranquillity, that is when the soft flutter of native bird life is scarce, and the gentle sound of waves in the near distance settles.
Enjoy the wildlife including penguins, kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas and gorgeous dolphins that can be seen close to shore most days.
Emu Bay is a quiet coastal hamlet located on the northern side of Kangaroo Island with safe swimming, a fishing jetty and a boat ramp. Emu Bay is approximately 60 minutes from Pennashaw all on bitumen, sealed roads and only 15 mins from the airport.
Emu Bay is only 15 minutes from Kingscote, being an easy journey to replenish supplies, enjoy a coffee and more at the local hotels, cafes and restaurants.
Emu Bay is perfectly positioned to explore the Island with all it has to offer. Flinders Chase is less than 90 minutes to the west and Cape Willoughby a little more than 60 minutes to the east.

Spectacular views!
This house was absolutely stunning. We stayed with family for a week and the house accommodated 6 adults perfectly. The wood fire was just what we needed with some cold nights during our stay and the view from the back deck was spectacular - we even saw some dolphins out in the bay! The location was great, just 20 minutes from the main town of Kingscote which had everything we needed - Drakes IGA, cafes, restaurants and the obligatory souvenir shops - plus lots of local artisans nearby (don't miss the Lavender Farm and cafe!). The only negative was the "pre departure checklist" we received from the Real Estate Host the day before leaving which included straightening beds (surely the beds would be made with fresh linen, no?) and ensuring the dishwasher was emptied prior to departure. We were more than happy to leave the property in the same condition we found it but at a cost of close to $6K, I would expect some of that would cover the cost of a cleaner who could empty a dishwasher.

Loved the house and location, very spacious and clean. The views are spectacular. We had a wheelchair in our group, house had plenty of space was easy to move about within the house. Great facilities.
