one bedroom camp in the woods minutes from Sleeping Bear National Park
one bedroom Cabin, with fire pit and privacy just minutes from Empire, Glen Arbor, Glen Lake. Great place to host a family reunion or gathering. Great unit with nature, wildlife and Star gazing. Air conditioning, washer dryer etc. There are a total of 3 properties on this 13 acre parcel with two rented for the summer already. One is a motorhome pad with two adults enjoying there retirement. (yes, you can see them from the cabin) No they will not interfere in your enjoyment at all. There is a third campsite with power and water that you can barely see, (they have a separate drive way parking area). Just wanted to make sure everyone knew ahead of time.

Great place to stay. Central location to every thing we wanted to see. Would definitely stay here again!!
Great location near the national park, and traverse city.
Cabin looked better than the pictures. It was just outside of Empire in wooded areas. We enjoyed it
This spot was perfect, tucked away in the woods and just minutes from our favorite spots to visit! We will definitely be back to this spot! The owner and property manager are very easy to work with and extremely hospitable and laid back!
Thank you for sharing your cabin with my family! Until next time...
The owner and the property were absolutely great, but i am NOT a fan of Vrbo. It was my first time using it and will likely never use it again. Air B&B all the way. Everytime trying to log into the app it need a verification email sent and approved. Sometimes you actually receive that email and sometimes you do not. The day we were set to leave, I still didn't have access to the app to get my access information to the property.
The unit is located in the woods and very quiet and peaceful. Having a washer, dryer, dishwasher and garbage disposal was very convenient. The only downside was the lack of available communication with the outside world. There is no WiFi. Cellphone service is very limited, had from one bar to no bars making it almost impossible to talk or text. Fortunately the library in Empire (about 7 miles away) had excellent WiFi service and they were very happy to let us use theirs.
This Vrbo was perfect for our family vacation! Jeff was a great host; the place was completely stock with everything we needed and he himself was very quick to respond to any messages I sent him.
It was perfectly located in the area to be able to get to all the tourist spots in the area.
As far as the two campers on the property we could barely see the one as stated in the description and the two retirees in the camper on the opposite side of the driveway we saw maybe two or three time exchanged a wave and that was all. Our trip was not at all hindered or interrupted by either of the other groups.
We are already planning a return trip next summer to this Vrbo! Thanks again Jeff

No romance here!
I’ll start on a positive note. The location was fantastic, and the host was very responsive. However, my husband and I chose this vacation rental for the seclusion and privacy, as we were under the impression that we would have the whole place to ourselves. When we pulled into the driveway someone was camping in the yard right next to the fire pit! When I contacted the host about this, he explained the guy is just there to keep an eye on things, but won’t bother us. How awkward! If I had known about the “property manager” on site, I never would have rented this home. And, to top it off the home was not clean. There were dead bugs all over the floors-even in the freezer! The worst part were the roaches that scattered when we turned on the lights in the kitchen! How can you charge a $75 cleaning fee when the place isn’t being cleaned??!! Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.
Perfect location to The Sleeping Bear Dunes, quaint towns, beautiful lakes and beaches!
The rental was better in person than in pictures. Very enjoyable.
