"Casa Magdalena is absolutely a hidden gem in San Carlos! I am A single woman that drove down from Arizona with my dog and even before I was on my way, we had communicated over the phone so I felt a sense of security. Cecilia greeted me as soon as we arrived and from there on it was just a perfect experience. My dog was more than welcome and they were very few guests so it almost felt like I had the place to myself. Even decided to spend an extra night because it was so relaxing and peaceful. Highly recommend this beautiful oasis in San Carlos. "

The interior grounds that surround the pool are beautiful, offering an enjoyable spot to sit and read. In addition, the hotel has a restaurant and an adjacent steakhouse, both providing delicious food."
