The cabin was perfect for our Yellowstone trip! Very quiet, beautiful property right off the Yellowstone river. We watched golden eagles and osprey while eating breakfast. We would definitely love to come stay again!

Handsome little cabin, well equipped, great for a small family... or little bit larger if you would rent both of the two adjacent but well arranged in view of privacy cabins. Local gas station has everything you need for a short stay insofar as groceries.

Heavenly retreat
The property is called River Haven and it is perfectly named. We stayed in the South Cabin and it was amazing. Our cabin was possibly the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. We cooked several nights and everything we needed was available including many items most places do not have (spices, foil, oil). The bed is very comfortable and there were soft blankets which is a plus to me. We didn’t use the loft beds but it looked very cozy up there. We did use the AC and the cabin cools down quickly. It’s a very short walk to the river and we sat by it several afternoons. There is a bit of slope to actually get in the water but doable. The view out our window was amazing and we saw the most incredible sunsets. We saw eagles and ospreys, rabbits and a couple of deers every night. Laura was great to work with and always very responsive. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back.

Panoramic views via large windows and a spacious deck, nice amenities, and close enough to things but far enough away at the same time. Nice kitchen furnishings. The ladder loft was not something we found to be functional space and left a portion of the cabin unusable for us, which made it feel more cramped, but I’d imagine kids love it. Just a matter of preference. Not a dealbreaker as everything else was so lovely but seems helpful to share.

Family week away
My 17 year old daughter, husband, 3 year old Dutch Sheppard and I stayed here for a week using it as our place for a week at Yellowstone. It was a beautiful location, where we enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset daily. There were 4 bald eagles that we watched daily from the couch. It took about 20 minutes to Yellowstone from the location, but we LOVED all the wildlife we saw on that drive. It was about 30 minutes to Livingston were we went the day it rained to enjoy downtown and shopping. It was well stocked with kitchen supplies, and bathroom needs. The owners were very easy to communicate with, and even checked in on our stay half way through. Our dog enjoyed the yard and we spent every evening sitting on the porch reading and her just taking it in.

Perfect little cabin!
We had a great time in this clean, well-equipped cabin on the ranch. The owners have thought of it all, as it was stocked with anything we needed during our 4 day stay. Cisco, their horse, is very friendly and my sons loved seeing him welcome us at the fence as we’d come back from a day at Yellowstone (perfect location if you’re heading in and out of the North entrance and don’t want to be too close to the tourist scene). We would definitely stay here again if we are ever back this way!

Family get together near Yellowstone
This cabin near the Yellowstone River fit the needs for our family, who came to the area to spend a week with our son who was working in Yellowstone for the summer. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking dinners, and the table sat 4 comfortably. When all 4 of us were there, we found the loft space useful, though the access up the ladder took some getting used to because of the steepness. The entire cabin was extremely clean and very obviously well tended, with fresh towels and linens, and the beds were comfortable. The one thing to be aware of is that the owners’ dogs roam around the property. We had our dog with us and on leash the entire time, per the policy, but we did have to be aware of the two dogs when we went out because they would try to approach our dog. Both dogs were friendly, but on leash dogs don’t always interact well with off leash dogs, so we just had to be careful every time we went out with him. If you’re looking for a nice cabin, near Yellowstone or Livingstone, this place is a good candidate.

Great cabin for a great price
This cabin had everything our family of five needed, including good WiFi for my teenage children. It’s clean, cool, and comfortable. The location about 35 minutes north of Yellowstone is convenient to explore Lamar Valley without overpaying for accommodations in Gardiner. River Haven is a great cabin for a great price.

Very Nice Stay
Our family of 4 had a very nice stay. Cabin is very cute with all new decor, appliances, kitchen and bath amenities. Easy drive to Yellowstone National Park which was our reason for the trip and a must do for anyone visiting. I forgot that this cabin doesn't have laundry services on site but we were able to do laundry next to the gas station in Emigrant. Gas station attendant was very friendly when we had to get quarters since no change machine at the laundry mat. We loved the small town of Emigrant and having drinks at The Old Saloon! Wish we would have had time to check out the bakery and BBQ place but too much to see in Yellowstone!

This is a well-cared for little cabin on a nice property in the paradise valley. The cabins are newer, clean, thoughtfully decorated/furnished, and very cozy. Everything that one might be visiting that part of Montana for (Yellowstone, mountains, etc.) is within very easy driving distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend there!
